In September 1899, Bishop Andrey Sheptytsky of Stanislaviv paid an archpastoral visit to the Kosiv Deanery in the Hutsul region. Here, in addition to performing services and preaching sermons, he got acquainted with the Hutsuls' way of life, their customs and dialect, founded reading rooms and donated books, and convinced people of the need for education. A year after this trip, on November 20, 1900, Andrei Sheptytsky wrote a message "To My Dear Hutsuls," in which he thanked them for last year's warm welcome; continued to instruct them in matters of faith, education, and proper Christian behavior in family and society; advised them on how to manage money and settle property matters, how to run a household and raise children. Out of great respect and love for his addressees, Andrei Sheptytsky wrote his message in the Hutsul dialect, which is preserved in this edition. It also contains a text by the Ukrainian writer Lyuba-Paraskeviya Strynadyuk, who describes in an artistic style the visit of the Stanislaviv bishop to the Hutsul region, where she comes from. Suitable for decorating clothing, interior, haberdashery.   The designs is made in the now fashionable watercolor technique . It's a technique that mimics watercolor painting. Since the essence of watercolor is transparency and lightness, embroidery designs are often performed also with a variation of density. From a large density passing into a very rare translucent. Fabric in such designs can be seen through the embroidery. It is also acceptable not full filling of polygons. Filling can go beyond the contour or Vice versa does not reach the contour. It is possible to overlay one layer of threads on another. All this is not a defect of design and imitates strokes of paint on the canvas. Designs sizes are shown in the photo.   In the third part of the set there are no large designs, all designs are intact. Designs can be embroidered separately or made into borders. "Peonies" (part 1) - it's machine embroidery designs made by Oksana Vushkan. Please note: This is digital file for embroidery machine. No auto digitizing software is used.    The complete set consists of three parts. Each part can be purchased separately in the store. The set contains the largest designs, whole and divided, suitable for a 130 x 180 mm (5 x 7") hoop  and larger their.  Assembly diagrams for the divided designs and assembly instructions are included with each part of the kit. The designs is delicate, not dense. Suitable for decorating clothing, interior, haberdashery. The designs is made in the now fashionable watercolor technique. It's a technique that mimics watercolor painting. Since the essence of watercolor is transparency and lightness, embroidery designs are often performed also with a variation of density. From a large density passing into a very rare translucent. Fabric in such designs can be seen through the embroidery. It is also acceptable not full filling of polygons. Filling can go beyond the contour or Vice versa does not reach the contour. It is possible to overlay one layer of threads on another.
