oil on canvas 25x40 cm 2021 A vibrant and abstract portrayal of two seagulls is depicted amidst a flurry of bold brush strokes and a dynamic color palette. The artist has signed the piece in the lower right corner with the initials VG. Series "BIR`S BAZAAR» part #2 Seagulls and Martins Optimistic" is a breathtaking original oil painting on canvas that brings the enchanting world of birds to life uniquely and imaginatively. This particular edition of the series focuses on the lively interaction between seagulls and martins, two different species that symbolize freedom, resilience, and optimism. The painting is masterfully executed in oil on canvas, conveying rich textures, vibrant colors, and intricate details. The author’s technique adds depth and dimension to the picture, enhancing its visual impact with 3D effects. The "tiny birds" aspect of the painting suggests that the birds are carefully depicted on a smaller scale, inviting viewers to appreciate the subtlety of each bird's plumage and features up close. The central theme of optimism is beautifully conveyed through the body language of gulls and martins. Known for their connection to the ocean and the boundless sky, seagulls exude a sense of carefree joy as they soar and soar in the gentle breeze. Their wings are spread, capturing a moment of graceful movement that encapsulates the freedom they represent. Unlike seagulls, martins bring a touch of quirkiness to the composition. These small birds are shown engaging in playful antics, perhaps engaging in aerial ballet or displaying their remarkable agility as they fly and weave through the air. Their optimistic spirit is contagious as they epitomize the beauty of taking on life's challenges with a carefree and adventurous outlook.

oil on canvas 60x06 cm 2021 A vibrant depiction shows two water lilies atop broad floating leaves, set against a backdrop of textured strokes and a mixture of dark and light colors that suggest reflective water. The heavy paint application creates a dynamic and tactile surface, imparting an impressionistic feel to the scene. The original Ukrainian oil painting on canvas is part of a series of water lily landscapes, specifically the "Magic Flower of Buddha", which probably refers to the nymphaeum lotus, also known as the sacred lotus. This type of artwork is often associated with creating an environment conducive to meditation due to the serene and calm nature of water lilies and their significance in various spiritual and cultural contexts. Here is a detailed description of what this painting might entail: The canvas is filled with a serene scene that takes the viewer to a peaceful pond with water lilies, where the water lily lotus blooms in all its glory. The environment is a harmonious combination of water, sky and delicate flora, creating an atmosphere conducive to meditation and introspection. In the foreground of the painting, water lilies take center stage. Their large, rounded leaves float gracefully on the surface of the water, forming a green carpet that seems to stretch indefinitely. I paid meticulous attention to detail depicting the intricate veining of the leaves and how they interact with the water to create mesmerizing reflections and ripples. As a rule, among the sea of leaves, nymphaea lotus flowers appear in different stages of flowering. The color of their untouched petals ranges from pure white to delicate shades of pink and pale lavender. Each flower seems to reach out towards the sunlight, symbolizing growth, enlightenment and spiritual development. The focus may be on the fully opened lotus flower, its petals unfurled like a radiant offering to the world. The water of a tranquil pond is depicted with masterful use of color and light. Obviously, I was able to capture the gentle movement of the water surface, capturing the ever-changing patterns of light and shadow as it dances with the wind. The reflections of lotus leaves and flowers shimmer on the water, creating a dreamlike and ethereal quality to the scene. The background of the picture is calm, which complements the pond with water lilies. All in all, Buddha's Magic Flower invites viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty and serenity of nature. The painting's emphasis on the lotus as a symbol of spiritual growth and enlightenment, combined with the skillful rendering of water and light, creates an environment conducive to meditation and inner contemplation. Whether displayed in a private or public space, this piece of art serves as a visual sanctuary to find solace and a moment of respite from the demands of the world.

When I come to the port, my eyes widen... I always make sketches with what I have at hand. The most accessible materials: pencil, liner, paper, notepad. The sea of fishing ships, boats does not leave you indifferent. The abundance of their shapes and colors creates special visual planes. White superstructures are crowned with masts, crane beams and rigging, like cobwebs, they have a special technological pattern. I conceived this series as endless simply because it is impossible to stop. The important thing is that the paintings are small in size 30x25 cm and beautifully decorated in a passe-partout and a frame.

oil on canvas 40x70 cm 2022 A large white ship with multiple cranes and a red waterline is moored in a harbor under a clear blue sky. Small boats and a tugboat accompany the vessel, reflecting on the calm water surface. I am a travel lover and I am interested in the history of the places I visit, because they can become the basis of the plot of my canvases. It happened in Hamburg, where I was captivated by a unique vessel with unsurpassed naval architecture of the early 60s! Remember this time - everything had an aesthetically finished design: buildings, cars, clothes ... Humanity was on the verge of another rise. The plot of my picture is simple - the withdrawal of the "white swan", a ship that has gone down in history, to the raid. The MS Cap San Diego is a cargo ship on display as a museum ship in Hamburg, Germany. Known for her elegant silhouette, she was the last of a series of six ships known as the white swans of the South Atlantic and marked the pinnacle of German-built general cargo ships before the advent of container ships and the decline of the German heavy shipping industry. Cap San Diego was built and launched by Deutsche Werft in 1961 for Hamburg Süd as the last of a series of six ships. The 159 m long, 10,000 dwt ship sailed on a regular schedule between Germany and South America, making 120 round trips until 1981. After the ship was sold. The dilapidated ship was scheduled for scrapping. In 1986, when the city of Hamburg bought it, the ship was restored mainly by the labor of enthusiasts and laid-off dockers and is still in working condition. Most of the time, Cap San Diego is moored at the port of Hamburg, where visitors can access almost every part of the ship, from the bridge to the engine. Temporary exhibitions are held in one of the cargo holds. Passenger cabins can be booked for overnight stays. Several times a year, the ship leaves the harbor to sail under its own power, mainly along the Elbe River or Cuxhaven. In 2001, the ship was awarded the "Marine Heritage" award by the World Ship Trust, and in 2003 it was declared a protected cultural heritage site under German law. Sunny impressions of my painting! The picture is painted in the author's technique with a palette knife in the style of impressionism.

The sky and water are depicted with shades of blue and white, giving a sense of movement and light to the scene. SS John Oxley is a steamship that previously served as a pilot boat, lighthouse and life buoy. The ship was built in Scotland in 1927 for the Queensland government. The ship became part of the Australian Navy during World War II. Returning to duty after the war, John Oxley remained active until 1968, when her deteriorating condition rendered her unusable. In 1970, the ship was donated by the Government of Queensland to the Lady Hopetown and Port Jackson Maritime Steam Museum (now the Sydney Heritage Fleet) for preservation, but due to other projects, work was put on hold until 2004. During eighty years on the water, the ship has undergone significant corrosion of the hull, decks and superstructures. Most of the ship's riveted hull plates required complete copying using the same hot riveting method used in ship construction. In 2017, the ship underwent a restoration at Rozelle Bay, Sydney, Australia. All mechanisms, masts and rigging, wooden structures, interior decoration were restored and repaired, and, in general, the ship was put into a seaworthy condition so that it could again go to sea and make coastal voyages. oil on canvas 30x50 cm 2023 A bold red and white lighthouse stands prominently against a backdrop of choppy blue and white brushstrokes, evoking a strong maritime feel. The abstract quality of the painting suggests movement, perhaps of water or clouds, surrounding the solid structure of the lighthouse. The Pierres Noires lighthouse (English: Black Rocks Lighthouse) is a maritime lighthouse of Finistère built from 1867 to 1871 and inaugurated on May 1st 1872. Located off the Saint-Mathieu point, it allows ships entering the Four channel to avoid at night and in foggy weather the reefs of the Pierres Noires road. It is attached to the commune of Le Conquet and belongs to the French State. It was listed as a historical monument by order of December 31, 2015. On the proposal of the National Commission of Historic Monuments, the Minister of Culture and Communication has, on April 20, 2017, classified the lighthouse of Pierres Noires as a historic monument. It is one of the smallest on the Baltic coast and marks the northern entrance to the Hellenstrom. Stop and enjoy! At sunset, you can experience the special light that every artist and traveler on Hiddensee admires. The architecture of the cast-iron lighthouse seems to take you back to the beginning of the last century, because it was then, in 1905, that the lighthouse was lit and has been showing the way to fishermen and sailors for more than a hundred years. This is how eyewitnesses describe their stay on the island and the path to the lighthouse fragrant with herbs: “When the sun sets lower in the afternoon, it’s worth taking a walk from the“ capital ”Witte in the center of the island through the fishing village of Neuendorf to the Hellen lighthouse in the south of the island. Flowers, light and silence affect you with their magic. You experience inner peace and a return to serenity. Along the way you hear the rocking of fishing boats, the squeal of seagulls. From Witte to Neuendorf five kilometers. The path leads through sandy moorland. Gentle hills, covered in places with sand dunes, in places thickly covered with heather, lined with groves of shining white birches or wind-bent pines. The evening sun penetrates through the trees, casting long shadows and flooding the grove on the Baltic Sea with a mysterious warm light. The wasteland is a natural reserve, narrow paths lead back and forth through the bushes and meadows. Snakes and vipers live here. The rustle of leaves is heard. The paths lead through the dam down to the beach with fine sand and rich in shells. If you go further south along the beach or along the marked path through the forest, you will reach Cape Hellen…” The picture is painted in the author's technique with a palette knife in the style of impressionism.

oil on canvas 40x50 cm 2023 In a bustling harbor scene, ships and industrial structures are depicted with bold, expressive brushstrokes that give a sense of movement and activity. A palette of grays, whites and hints of orange and blue add vibrancy to this nautical theme, capturing the essence of maritime commerce and engineering. The painting depicts the everyday life of the port of the city of Emden. In the floating dock is under reconstruction lightship Amrumbank. The ship's hull has been stripped of old paint and is awaiting a new coat. Characteristic of bare, corroded metal, the ocher color highlights the unique lines of a vessel with over 100 years of history. The lightship Amrumbank was built in 1915 at the Jos.L.Meyer shipyard in Papenburg and has been used as a floating lighthouse in several positions in the North Sea since 1917. After being decommissioned on October 19, it was bought, renovated and partially rebuilt by the "Working Group Museums-Feuerschiff e.V., Emden". Since August 2, 1984, the Amrumbank has been in the Ratsdelft of Emden - in the middle of the city - and can be visited by anyone. If the wind and weather permit, the lightship sets off once a year for one or two days to travel the EMS.

oil on canvas 50x60 cm 2023 A vibrant red ship is docked at a busy industrial harbor, surrounded by cranes and various buildings. The scene is lively with a bustling industrial ambiance. The painting depicts the moment of the return of the lightship AMRUMBANK to EMDEN RATSDELFT, accompanied by two tugboats, after the ship left its berth at the end of August 2019 and over the next 16 months underwent a large-scale reconstruction at one of the Emden shipyards. In the picture, I wanted to convey the state of the awakening city: the first industrial sounds, dissolving in the morning haze of shipyards, the creak of crane beams, the rustling of transport on the pier ... And the main thing, I think, is the contrast of cold night tones, giving way to the warm morning colors of a new day and the dominant red the color of the freshly painted hull of the Amrumbank lighthouse. An imposing procession to the place of its parking in the city center, the expectations of the townspeople and the pride of everyone who participates in the active life of the legendary ship - these are emotions that are not forgotten. oil on canvas 70x60 cm 2023 A depiction of a ship with abstract lines and vibrant colors against a bluish background. The mix of geometric shapes and dynamic brush strokes creates a sense of movement and complexity. I painted an oil painting on canvas in the expressionist style, which depicts the stem of the famous sailing ship Amerigo Vespucci. The explosive manner of execution emphasizes the uniqueness of sailing ships and their ability to sail across oceans. It's not just a canvas; it is a testament to the enduring appeal of sailing ships and their limitless ability to capture the hearts and imaginations of all who encounter them. Let it find its place in your world and fill it with the beauty and freedom of the open sea. The Amerigo Vespucci is a tall ship of the Italian Navy (Marina Military) named after the explorer Amerigo Vespucci. Its home port is La Spezia, Italy, and it is in use as a school ship. In 1925, the Regia Marina ordered two school ships to a design by General Lieutenant Francesco Rotundi of the Italian Navy Engineering Corps, inspired by the style of large late 18th century 74-cannon ships of the line. Amerigo Vespucci was the second ship built in 1930, built in 1930 at the (formerly Royal) Naval Shipyard of Castellammare di Stabia (Naples). She was launched on 22 February 1931,[2] and put into service in July of that year. While sailing the Mediterranean Sea in 1962, the American aircraft carrier USS Independence flashed the Amerigo Vespucci with the light signal asking: "Who are you?" The full-rigged ship answered: "Training ship Amerigo Vespucci, Italian Navy." The Independence replied: "You are the most beautiful ship in the world."

There is a story in this name, a story about a ship, a tug, which, despite its antiquity, commands respect and admiration. Lovers of the sea will understand... I once wrote that ships, like people, each have their own path and age. But how important it is to never allow even the thought that you are weak, that you cannot and that your time has passed... Three symbols: rusted metal reinforced by the position of the contrajour and the bright sun bathing in the sky above the sea, the giant in the rays of eternal glory and the memory of those who created him, served in him and continue to love him.
