In a bustling harbor scene, ships and industrial structures are depicted with bold, expressive brushstrokes that give a sense of movement and activity. A palette of grays, whites and hints of orange and blue add vibrancy to this nautical theme, capturing the essence of maritime commerce and engineering.
The painting depicts the everyday life of the port of the city of Emden. In the floating dock is under reconstruction lightship Amrumbank. The ship's hull has been stripped of old paint and is awaiting a new coat. Characteristic of bare, corroded metal, the ocher color highlights the unique lines of a vessel with over 100 years of history.
The lightship Amrumbank was built in 1915 at the Jos.L.Meyer shipyard in Papenburg and has been used as a floating lighthouse in several positions in the North Sea since 1917. After being decommissioned on October 19, it was bought, renovated and partially rebuilt by the "Working Group Museums-Feuerschiff e.V., Emden". Since August 2, 1984, the Amrumbank has been in the Ratsdelft of Emden - in the middle of the city - and can be visited by anyone. If the wind and weather permit, the lightship sets off once a year for one or two days to travel the EMS.

PIERS
oil on canvas 60x90 cm 2020 Light dances across the surface of the water where boats are tethered to a dock. The color palette is vibrant with blues, yellows, and hints of green reflecting on the tranquil waters, suggesting a serene setting in a maritime environment. The plot of my painting is simple - a pier and old fishing boats moored next to it. But this simplicity conquers at first sight, brings peace from the "calm water" clarity of the image with an accentuated reflection of the wooden sides, and the invisible coastline makes you think about what is left outside the canvas. In my work, I put not only my talent and skill, but also the philosophical meaning, which is manifested in the details. Amazing reflections of canals in the small Spanish village of Albufera in the outskirts of Valencia. It was reflections that I focused on, since they are the key to the perception of the water surface, reflecting the boats, the building on the pier and the silvery sky. Once, when a painting, among others, was being prepared for an exhibition in an art gallery, it turned out to be upside down... And everyone saw what the philosophical meaning of the "reflection" eternally sung by the Japanese is - upside down, we look at the boats from under the water, which in itself uncommon, but unusual. Like a portal opening a mysterious underwater world. If you want - check it out, you'll like it. Of course, I do not urge to place the picture on the contrary, but you already know its inner potential.

RMS CARPATHIA Series OCEAN LINERS and FINE ART part #04
oil on canvas 60x90 cm 2023 A large ship is docked at a harbor, with cranes and other machinery visible on the pier. The sky is painted a bright blue with scattered white clouds. The Cunard Line line of ships at the turn of the 20th century had several ships similar to Carpathia - utilitarian and with an emphasis on cargo capacity and passenger comfort. Carpathia was one of three such candidates for vice president, including Saxony and Ivernia. They have become "workhorses" providing regular and comfortable service for transatlantic crossings. The Carpathia was one of the last relatively large liners equipped with "conventional" steam engines against the backdrop of the already approaching era of turboships. The liner did not differ in speed - the operational "average" speed was only 14 knots. The ship housed cargo holds, although not too spacious, as well as refrigerated compartments intended for the transportation of frozen products from America to the British Isles. And, of course, special premises for postal items were supposed, because according to tradition, the liners received the abbreviation RMS (from Royal Mail Ship) in addition to the name. Today, the Carpathia is remembered as the ship that rushed to the aid of the Titanic when it collided with an iceberg and sank in April 1912. After achieving fame, the ship made a largely uneventful career and eventually sank during World War I after being torpedoed by a German U-boat. This was by no means an end worthy of a ship as heroic as RMS Carpathia!

Delivery method

We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages. 

First a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada or Europe. 

You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to 12-18 days.

Express delivery is available only on individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.

Customs duties and taxes

Customers are responsible for any fees, taxes and duties related to delivery and ordering products to their country of destination.

Packaging

Your order will arrive in a safe cardboard box, with due packaging and protection from damage.
