Louis de Nevers, Count of Flanders, 1304-1346. He was the son of Louis, Count of Nevers and Jeanne of Rethel, and grandson of Robert III of Flanders. Louis married Marguerite of France, second daughter of Philip V of France and Jeanne II, Countess of Burgundy. Louis I relied on the aid of the King of France to put down the peasant revolt of Nicolaas Zannekin. Louis was killed in the Battle of Crecy. Thomas de Beauchamp, 11th Earl of Warwick (14 February 1313 – November 13,1369) was an English nobleman and military commander during the Hundred Years' War. Warwick was Marshall of England from 1343/4 until 1369, and was one of the commanders at the great English victories at Crecy and Poitiers. John of Eltham, 1 st Earl of Cornwall (15 August 1316 - 13 September 1336) was the second sound of Edward II of England and Isabella of France. He was the heir to the French throne from the date of the abdication of his father (25 January 1327) to the birth of his nephew Edward of Woodstock (15 June 1330). John of Eltham, born August 25, 1316, died on September 13, 1336 was the son of Édouard II, King of England and France Isabelle. It was 1328 1336 Cornwall County. Henry of Grosmont, 1st Duke of Lancaster, 4th Earl of Leicester and Lancaster, (c. 1310 – 23 March 1361), also Earl of Derby, was a member of the English nobility in the 14th century, and a prominent English diplomat, politician, and soldier. The son and heir of Henry, 3rd Earl of Lancaster, and Maud Chaworth, he became one of Edward III's most trusted captains in the early phases of the Hundred Years' War and distinguished himself with victory in the Battle of Auberoche. He was a founding member and the second Knight of the Order of the Garter in 1348, and in 1351 was created duke. Grosmont was also the author of the book Livre de seyntz medicines, a highly personal devotional treatise. He is remembered as one of the founders and early patrons of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, which was established by two of the guilds of the town in 1352. Boy height 2.13 in, width 1.50 in. A smiling Chinese boy with a sacred fish in his hands is one of the sweetest sculptures of my creative workshop. In Chinese and Japanese everyday life the figurines of children, especially boys, have a large and pronounced symbolism. Netsuke Karako (a Chinese little boy) is the wish of a male heir who would occupy a high social position and thus will bring prosperity to the family. Karako is considered a benevolent symbol, bringing happiness, luck and well-being. In addition to this, the joyful boy is depicted with the sacred fish Tai, which on its tail brings happiness. The baby and the fish are made of red terracotta clay, covered with black glaze. The glaze did not color the figure but only emphasized the lines. The boy’s robe is covered with bright yellow-orange glaze. In front of you is a very beautiful original product. This figurine will be a beautiful gift with wishes for happiness, harmony, well-being and a speedy replenishment in the family. This is unique lucky tea pet for Gongfu tea, birthday gift. Okame height 1.34 in, width 1.02 in. The Okame mask of the Kegen Theatre is one of the cultural symbols of Japan. A very charming piece - a very accurate copy of the handwriting of my creative workshop. It is made of white clay, which became beige during the process of roasting. Upon careful examination, it can be seen that the posterior part of the article( symbolizing the neck of the mask bearer) has come out significantly lighter. That makes it even clearer. Also some fragments (eyebrows, eyelashes, hair) are covered with black engobe, teeth-white, the lips are highlighted by a slight smear of red clay. Okame is the Japanese goddess of happiness and fun. She is usually depicted as a small fat woman with a large pear-like head, burning eyes, a broad, curly face, plucked eyebrows, a small mouth and full cheeks. Okame is known in Japanese mythology as well as Ame no Uzume - «Heavenly Maiden of Courage». It was she who lured the goddess of the Sun, Amateras, out of the cave with her frantic dance and brought light back to the world. The popular image of Okame was very popular. It is not by chance that her other names are Ofuku (in Japanese - «happiness») and Otafuku («great happiness»). The word «okama» is literally translated as a «turtle»; this animal in ancient Japan was a symbol of long life and luck. It’s going to be a great gift to a man who’s interested in Oriental culture.
