Let me introduce your attention the USHANKA - a military ww2 cap with earflaps made of natural fur for the commanding staff of the Red Army (RKKA), 1940 model, M40. It is present in used but good vintage condition. Extremly rare and perfect ww2 collectible item! Historical reference: A cap with earflaps for privates and command personnel was introduced by order of the USSR People's Commissar of Defense No. 187 of July 5, 1940 based on the experience of the war with Finland, during which the weak protective properties of the standard winter headdress of the Red Army - Budenovka were revealed. Ushanka consists of a cap, a visor and a back cap with headphones tied to a braid. A cap with earflaps for senior, senior and middle command personnel is made of woolen fabric, gray cloth and natural gray fur. Since December 1941, in order to save money, along with cloth and natural fur, it was allowed to use other fabrics for making hats with earflaps, including cotton cloth and gray artificial fur. Original USSR new HELMET 1954, Military Soviet Army WWII, SSh40 type, Steel, ammunition, armor, green There are rivets on the chin strap! The helmet is new but there are little traces of storage in a military warehouse SIZE P-1 means head measurement up to 55 cm Steel helmet - 1940 model (SSh-40). Original, post-war issue. Before the war, tests of the SSH-40 helmet were carried out at the Shchurovsky test site near Moscow. During the war, it was produced by the Krasny Oktyabr metallurgical plant and the Lysva metallurgical plant. Tests of the finished product included selective tests of the helmet's armor resistance in a shooting range by firing a 7.62-mm rifle from the 1891/30 model. The firing distance was 25 meters. In SSh40 helmets the Red Army fought during all WW2. The silhouette of a soldier in this helmet has become a symbol of the Great Patriotic War. On helmets made since 1942, a new type of comforter was installed, which consisted of three petals, made of artificial leather. Each of the petals was attached to the surface of the helmet with two rivets. In the upper part, the petals of the comforter were fastened with a cord. The chin strap on this helmet was made of khaki fabric or leather. The helmet was painted olive or khaki, sometimes a five-pointed star was depicted on the front of the helmet. On the inside of the helmet, in the back of the head, an original stamp was affixed. The steel helmet was made in three sizes: № 1, 2, 3 (see the stamp). Helmets correspond to the size of the head in girth: 1st size - up to 55 cm; 2nd size - from 56 to 59 cm; 3rd size - 60 cm and more (you can find the all sizes you need in our shop). Let me introduce your attention the amazing private collection of Poychenko Mykhaylo Ivanovych (1909-1992) - Ukrainian famous and well-known cinematographer. A participant of the German-Soviet war (WWII). Honored Artist of Ukraine (1988). This is really a museum piece of art, one of a kind and unique collection with exclusive original details on ww2 photos (buttles, prisoners of war, crossing the Dnieper 1941, captured German aircrafts, sinking ships, BREZHNEV, VOROSHILOV etc) Photo condition investigate according to the photos. Very Good! The lot consists of a huge number of photos from both the military WW2 (about 70) and post-war years (about 400, including family, theatre, Paris, Roma, festivals, some nude). It is not possible to display everything. In addition to the photo, there are photocopies and originals of ww2 telegrams, orders, passes (photocopies with L. BREZHNEV’s signature), accompanying documents, etc., correspondence from the fronts with the leadership and relatives (it is classified as SECRET, IN PERSON), award and congratulatory letters and telegrams. Most of the documents and photos are folded into a briefcase, possibly from some kind of German photographic equipment. Chronology. Front-line cameraman during the Great Patriotic War (WW2). Original USSR new HELMET 1974, Military Soviet Army WWII, SSh40 type, Steel, ammunition, armor, green with leather straps. There are rivets on the chin strap! The helmet is new but there are little traces of storage in a military warehouse SIZE P-1 means head measurement up to 55 cm Steel helmet - 1940 model (SSh-40). Original, post-war issue. Before the war, tests of the SSH-40 helmet were carried out at the Shchurovsky test site near Moscow. During the war, it was produced by the Krasny Oktyabr metallurgical plant and the Lysva metallurgical plant. Tests of the finished product included selective tests of the helmet's armor resistance in a shooting range by firing a 7.62-mm rifle from the 1891/30 model. The firing distance was 25 meters. In SSh40 helmets the Red Army fought during all WW2. The silhouette of a soldier in this helmet has become a symbol of the Great Patriotic War. On helmets made since 1942, a new type of comforter was installed, which consisted of three petals, made of artificial leather. Each of the petals was attached to the surface of the helmet with two rivets. In the upper part, the petals of the comforter were fastened with a cord. The chin strap on this helmet was made of khaki fabric or leather. The helmet was painted olive or khaki, sometimes a five-pointed star was depicted on the front of the helmet. On the inside of the helmet, in the back of the head, an original stamp was affixed. The steel helmet was made in three sizes: № 1, 2, 3 (see the stamp). Helmets correspond to the size of the head in girth: 1st size - up to 55 cm; 2nd size - from 56 to 59 cm; 3rd size - 60 cm and more (you can find the all sizes you need in our shop).
