Nice texture not prickly but expressive needles, smiling face, black kind eyes and big ears. Hedgehog is a symbol of self-defense. In Feng shui  the Hedgehog is a symbol of security, openness, friendliness and joy. Prickles pierce the world of darkness and either defeats it or gives it a jolt. Ancient legends say that Hedgehog is wise enough, and even God listened to his advice! In China, such an animal is associated with kindness. Hedgehog brings joy and prosperity to the house. Boy height 1.97 in, width 1.14 in. This is a figure of Chinese baby playing with his pet Hamster. The portrayal of boys has a very clear and powerful symbolism: it is the wish of a male heir who will occupy a high social position and thus will bring prosperity to his family. Karako (Chinese boy) is considered a benevolent symbol, bringing happiness, good fortune and well-being, protecting children from misfortune and disease. Okame height 1.34 in, width 1.02 in. The Okame mask of the Kegen Theatre is one of the cultural symbols of Japan. A very charming piece - a very accurate copy of the handwriting of my creative workshop. It is made of white clay, which became beige during the process of roasting. Upon careful examination, it can be seen that the posterior part of the article( symbolizing the neck of the mask bearer) has come out significantly lighter. That makes it even clearer. Also some fragments (eyebrows, eyelashes, hair) are covered with black engobe, teeth-white, the lips are highlighted by a slight smear of red clay. Okame is the Japanese goddess of happiness and fun. She is usually depicted as a small fat woman with a large pear-like head, burning eyes, a broad, curly face, plucked eyebrows, a small mouth and full cheeks. Okame is known in Japanese mythology as well as Ame no Uzume - «Heavenly Maiden of Courage». It was she who lured the goddess of the Sun, Amateras, out of the cave with her frantic dance and brought light back to the world. The popular image of Okame was very popular. It is not by chance that her other names are Ofuku (in Japanese - «happiness») and Otafuku («great happiness»). Tapir figurine 5 cm high, 4.4 cm wide. Made entirely of natural clay.  After Tapir was fired in a kiln at 1090 degrees Celsius. Hecate statue Goddess Hecate in her full function is the goddess of the moon, magic, the underworld, crossroads, travel, births, witchcraft, hunting, shepherds, social gatherings. It is a triple goddess - she was often depicted as three figures with their backs turned to each other, her triple aspect is past, present and future, phases of the moon and phases of female maturity (maiden - mother old woman). I tried to depict its main attributes. Her attributes are the Key (she reveals limits and secret knowledge), the Torch (metaphorically it can also be described as lighting the way for seekers), the Whip (the most interesting interpretation I found of the lash was about curbing your own vices and passions, your own chthonic world) , Dagger (retribution and retribution, universal justice), Dogs (as animals of the underworld, hunting animals, animals of "retribution") and Snakes (femininity, wisdom). Nevertheless, there is no consensus about the meaning of Hecate symbols. As the goddess of transitions from one world to another, she becomes the goddess of magic and enchantment. Her aspect as a world-traveler also includes the fact that she is the patroness of childbirth. She is believed to cut the umbilical cord of the child, closing the gate of the "other" world behind it. As a mediator Hecate can unite different and contradictory things, but it is contradictory at first sight, like science and magic may well unite for Hecate. For Hecate, they are two sides of the same coin, telling about the same aspect from different sides. Because of this, she often has a wide view of the situation in depth. Hecate's trinity is also about changes - changes in the moon, changes in the feminine cycle, changes in a person's age, understanding the past, present, and future. Hecate, like any chthonic goddess, is slightly beyond morality, so she speaks quietly about taboo things and even laughs at them. Hecate is not afraid of death, but she does not look for it on purpose, just like all that have been to the underworld and successfully returned. Death for her is the natural order of things. It is a ceramic (clay) statuette. It is quite unusual. Because both images of Hecate (left and right of the central one) seem to dissolve. Half of the figure we can see, and the other half dissolves in space and time. Or vice versa... maybe it appears out of nowhere. Very beautiful and unusual. This sculpture is small: its height is 8 cm. Like most of my sculptures, it's made so that you can take it with you in a bag or keep it at home. It can easily fit in the palm of your hand. Holding it in your hands is a great pleasure. I touched it, so I know :) The sculpture is made of natural clay. It is fired at a temperature of 1200 degrees. I make these statuettes to order. Therefore, they may differ minimally from those that you see in the photo. But the differences are really minimal. Handicraft makes sculptures special, unique and, as a result - art. Sometimes I specify a processing time of up to 5 days, and sometimes 1 to 5 weeks.
