Ceramic bowl diameter 2.95 -3.15 inches, height 2.28 inches, capacity 80 ml. The frog is a harbinger of spring rains and the awakening of nature.  I call this bowl the HEATER OF HEAT. When, after hibernation, the frog woke up, climbed a tree in search of the warm rays of the sun to warm up. Outside, the bowl has a wood texture. It seems that the frog is sitting on a tree and striving to reach its top. Inside, the color of the wood is the same, but here the glaze has laid down so that it reminds me of the sun ( seen in the photo). The bowl and the frog are made of clay. They are covered with engobe and food glaze. Food safe. The bowl is very tactilely textured, but the frog is smooth. This is a great option for unity with nature and admiring an unusual bowl with its inhabitant. Figure height 4.3 cm, length ( side view) 5.7 cm. Why was this unique ceramic figurine born?  It's hard to answer.  I love animals, but I've never made a deer before.  Decided to try.  When the deer was ready, it seemed to me that something was missing.  And made the Buddha on horseback.  Then I came across information that historically, it was in the Deer Park that Gautama Buddha gave his first teaching. In addition, deer are fabulous creatures for me, graceful and kind.  I hope you love deer too. The Buddha on the Deer is made of natural clay. A detailed and interesting ceramic miniature sculpture. At the same time, he is a keeper of ways to the truth, hiding such ways to those who pursue truth for vanity and selfishness. Taoist monk figurine 70mm high, base width 40mm.This miniature monk sculpture was made by hand and fired in a unique SASUKENEI wood-fired kiln.  SASUKENEI is a smokeless wood-fired ceramic kiln designed and built by Japanese master ceramicist Masakazu Kusakabe in 2015 in the village of Cerdeira, Portugal. It's unique dual-chamber design with a large chimney ensures efficient combustion, low smoke levels and rapid temperature attainment of up to 1300 degrees Celsius (24-36 hours), and creates particularly dramatic wood ash firing and glaze effects on finished pieces. This figurine is inspired by old engravings. When you look at it in detail, you see a water bottle made from a gourd and a fan. Standing on the edge of a cliff, the wise monk is contemplating "the way of things" while stroking his beard. For me, this figure means wisdom, eternity and spiritual power. This original ceramic sculpture of  shy Hare is 52 mm high, length from paws to tail 46 mm. Made entirely by hand from natural high-temperature fireclay. When I made the tiny figurine and looked at it, I found this Hare shy. You know, if you praise a fox, he would become in a proud stand and licked in anticipation of something tasty. But this hare, he turned away and looked back shyly. Though he is faster than the fox, and perhaps smarter, he has a soft temper. That's why Hare, like some people, doesn't know how to accept praise and recognition. That's the way I see it.
