Figure height 4.3 cm, length ( side view) 5.7 cm. Why was this unique ceramic figurine born?  It's hard to answer.  I love animals, but I've never made a deer before.  Decided to try.  When the deer was ready, it seemed to me that something was missing.  And made the Buddha on horseback.  Then I came across information that historically, it was in the Deer Park that Gautama Buddha gave his first teaching. In addition, deer are fabulous creatures for me, graceful and kind.  I hope you love deer too. The Buddha on the Deer is made of natural clay. A detailed and interesting ceramic miniature sculpture. The color in reality may differ from the color on your monitor.  This handmade sculpture is a  perfect addition to your tea ceremony as a tea pet, as the figurine is not afraid of boiling water. If you will often water with dark tea it may darken,will get a different shade. Be careful - do not drop this mini sculpture, it is fragile, and do not give it to children as a toy.

Boy height 2.13 in, width 1.50 in. A smiling Chinese boy with a sacred fish in his hands is one of the sweetest sculptures of my creative workshop. In Chinese and Japanese everyday life the figurines of children, especially boys, have a large and pronounced symbolism. Netsuke Karako (a Chinese little boy) is the wish of a male heir who would occupy a high social position and thus will bring prosperity to the family. Karako is considered a benevolent symbol, bringing happiness, luck and well-being. In addition to this, the joyful boy is depicted with the sacred fish Tai, which on its tail brings happiness. The baby and the fish are made of red terracotta clay, covered with black glaze. The glaze did not color the figure but only emphasized the lines. The boy’s robe is covered with bright yellow-orange glaze. In front of you is a very beautiful original product. Completely hand-painted with different colors of clay. The eyes and claws are underlined with engobe. It was fired in a kiln at 1040 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is not afraid of boiling water and will keep you company in the tea ceremony. In the palms, when stroking, its pleasant shell texture, porous head and scaly paws are felt. On the belly of the turtle there is also a relief and well-painted shell. The ceramic handmade figurine of a praying monk is 52mm high and 43 mm wide. Made of natural clay by hand. At first glance seems very simple, but in my understanding has a deep meaning and spirituality.  The monk miniature ceramic sculpture is not afraid of boiling water, but can break if dropped. I present to your attention an unusual figurine of a Sphinx rat. Its height is 20mm, length is 82mm.  The Sphinx rat is an attentive, peaceful creature. I have never come across a figurine like this so I decided to create it. This miniature sculpture is made from a mixture of two clays, white and terracotta. I tried to create skin color for realism. I think I got it. This cute little statue has clearly visible folds, pimples on the body, a textured tail. The eyes are made of black clay. These details create a realistic figure. To the touch, the rat is smooth, pleasant and with a pronounced texture. The rat is not afraid of boiling water and will gladly accompany your tea ceremony. But keep in mind that when pouring tea, it will absorb it and become darker over time. It depends on the intensity of pouring tea and its variety (color). They say a ginger cat is good luck, especially a fat one. I wanted to make such a cool cat, but the price wasn't too steep. I hope you like the result. May it bring you luck and inspiration.  This ceramic ginger cat figurine is 50 mm high and 54 mm wide, made of natural clay completely by hand and hand painted with engobe. Then the figurine was fired in a kiln at 1050 degrees Celsius. The clay is hard as a stone and is not afraid of boiling water, but if you drop it, it will break, so be careful. To the touch, this ceramic cat sculpture is textural and pleasing . I hope you enjoy this miniature figurine and that you will really enjoy your purchase. Okame height 1.34 in, width 1.02 in. The Okame mask of the Kegen Theatre is one of the cultural symbols of Japan. A very charming piece - a very accurate copy of the handwriting of my creative workshop. It is made of white clay, which became beige during the process of roasting. Upon careful examination, it can be seen that the posterior part of the article( symbolizing the neck of the mask bearer) has come out significantly lighter. That makes it even clearer. Also some fragments (eyebrows, eyelashes, hair) are covered with black engobe, teeth-white, the lips are highlighted by a slight smear of red clay. Okame is the Japanese goddess of happiness and fun. She is usually depicted as a small fat woman with a large pear-like head, burning eyes, a broad, curly face, plucked eyebrows, a small mouth and full cheeks. Okame is known in Japanese mythology as well as Ame no Uzume - «Heavenly Maiden of Courage». It was she who lured the goddess of the Sun, Amateras, out of the cave with her frantic dance and brought light back to the world. The popular image of Okame was very popular. It is not by chance that her other names are Ofuku (in Japanese - «happiness») and Otafuku («great happiness»). The word «okama» is literally translated as a «turtle»; this animal in ancient Japan was a symbol of long life and luck. It’s going to be a great gift to a man who’s interested in Oriental culture. Ceramic bowl diameter 2.95 -3.15 inches, height 2.28 inches, capacity 80 ml. The frog is a harbinger of spring rains and the awakening of nature.  I call this bowl the HEATER OF HEAT. When, after hibernation, the frog woke up, climbed a tree in search of the warm rays of the sun to warm up. Outside, the bowl has a wood texture. It seems that the frog is sitting on a tree and striving to reach its top. Inside, the color of the wood is the same, but here the glaze has laid down so that it reminds me of the sun ( seen in the photo). The bowl and the frog are made of clay. They are covered with engobe and food glaze. Food safe. The bowl is very tactilely textured, but the frog is smooth. This is a great option for unity with nature and admiring an unusual bowl with its inhabitant. Figurine is height 2.20 in, width 2.44 in.  A very interesting and unusual sculpture. I call her Geisha with a cat. Sometimes you are going to blind one thing, it turns out completely different. So it happened with this original artwork. This girl is a cat lover. She is gentle and charming.  I think everyone can put their own meaning into this ceramic miniature figurine. This handmade miniature sculpture is made of natural clay, covered with engobe and the details are highlighted with black glaze. All materials from which the figurine is made are ecologic and safe. The product is not afraid of water, but it does not need to be washed in the dishwasher. The figure is fragile. Tea pair HOKUSAI. Two bowls represent a man and a woman. One bowl depicts a samurai man. On the second - a wise Japanese wife with scrolls. Drawings taken from Hokusai's sketch. On the bowls they are hand-painted by me with a brush. Outside and inside bowls are covered with food safe ceramic glaze. The bowls were fired twice in an oven at 1040 degrees Celsius. The capacity of bowls is 45-50 ml. Height 5.5-6 cm (since the bowls are made by hand without using a potter's wheel, they are not even and this gives them charm).

The height of the cat is 2 cm, length is 6 cm. The height of the bag is 1.5 cm, the length is 5.5 cm. Two miniature figures form one composition. The rat thinks the rice bag is her find. But the cat thinks differently. An unusual presentation of the eternal chase of a cat for a rat. This handmade figurines are made of clay. They were fired in an electric kiln at 1040 degrees Celsius. This miniature sculptures are not afraid of water. Therefore, they can be watered with tea during the tea ceremony. But the figurines are fragile. Please do not give it to children as a toy. The Hare walked peacefully in the clearing in the forest, enjoying the singing of birds.  But his pacification was broken by a rustle from the bushes.
