Figurine is height 2.20 in, width 2.44 in.  A very interesting and unusual sculpture. I call her Geisha with a cat. Sometimes you are going to blind one thing, it turns out completely different. So it happened with this original artwork. This girl is a cat lover. She is gentle and charming.  I think everyone can put their own meaning into this ceramic miniature figurine. This handmade miniature sculpture is made of natural clay, covered with engobe and the details are highlighted with black glaze. All materials from which the figurine is made are ecologic and safe. The product is not afraid of water, but it does not need to be washed in the dishwasher. The figure is fragile.  Hedgehog height 1.38 in, length 1.77 in. Getting into your hands, Hedgehog and his friend Snail only evoke positive emotions! Nice texture not prickly but expressive needles, smiling face, black kind eyes and big ears. Hedgehog is a symbol of self-defense. In Feng shui  the Hedgehog is a symbol of security, openness, friendliness and joy. Prickles pierce the world of darkness and either defeats it or gives it a jolt. Ancient legends say that Hedgehog is wise enough, and even God listened to his advice! In China, such an animal is associated with kindness. Hedgehog brings joy and prosperity to the house. The Snail is a symbol of patience and perseverance because of its slowness. Time (the burden on the shoulders) does not deprive the Snail of the ability to victoriously raise antennae above its head. Due to the horns appearing and disappearing, the Snail is considered a symbol of the cyclic nature of the processes. It is also a symbol of time and evolution. Height of the dog 1.97 in, width (front view) 1.57 in. The dog has a minimalistic design. He seemed to have descended from Japanese prints. Despite the minimalistic features, he has a well-developed form. The dog is made of clay, but very much resembles a jade figurine. Dog as you know it is a friend of man. He personifies dedication, courage and vigilance. It is a symbol of protection and self-sacrifice. I believe that a dog figurine should be in every home, especially if it is unusual and handmade. They say a ginger cat is good luck, especially a fat one. I wanted to make such a cool cat, but the price wasn't too steep. I hope you like the result. I present to you a figurine of a Japanese Cat ( a wandering musician). Height of the Cat 60 mm, width (front view) 31 mm, width ( side view) 43 mm. This miniature sculpture made entirely of natural fireclay by hand. The cat has undergone two firings in the kiln, after each firing it became textured. Particles of fireclay can be seen on the photo. The Cat is dressed in a kimono (patchwork from different pieces of fabric with different patterns). On his back you can see a Japanese character that means music. The cat is pictured in motion, singing and playing. This amazing figurine with an interesting texture is a great addition to your tea ceremony gongfucha and will look great in your workspace. It can be an unusual gift for someone especial. Ceramic bowl diameter 2.95 -3.15 inches, height 2.28 inches, capacity 80 ml. The frog is a harbinger of spring rains and the awakening of nature.  I call this bowl the HEATER OF HEAT. When, after hibernation, the frog woke up, climbed a tree in search of the warm rays of the sun to warm up. Outside, the bowl has a wood texture. It seems that the frog is sitting on a tree and striving to reach its top. Inside, the color of the wood is the same, but here the glaze has laid down so that it reminds me of the sun ( seen in the photo). The bowl and the frog are made of clay. They are covered with engobe and food glaze. Food safe. The bowl is very tactilely textured, but the frog is smooth. This is a great option for unity with nature and admiring an unusual bowl with its inhabitant. Completely hand-painted with different colors of clay. The eyes and claws are underlined with engobe. It was fired in a kiln at 1040 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is not afraid of boiling water and will keep you company in the tea ceremony. In the palms, when stroking, its pleasant shell texture, porous head and scaly paws are felt. On the belly of the turtle there is also a relief and well-painted shell. Why was this unique ceramic figurine born?  It's hard to answer.  I love animals, but I've never made a deer before.  Decided to try.  When the deer was ready, it seemed to me that something was missing.  And made the Buddha on horseback.  Then I came across information that historically, it was in the Deer Park that Gautama Buddha gave his first teaching. In addition, deer are fabulous creatures for me, graceful and kind.  I hope you love deer too. The Buddha on the Deer is made of natural clay. A detailed and interesting ceramic miniature sculpture. The color in reality may differ from the color on your monitor.  This handmade sculpture is a  perfect addition to your tea ceremony as a tea pet, as the figurine is not afraid of boiling water.
