Very rare MC-version Jupiter-9 85mm f/2 (export version of Jupiter-9)  This is a very rare MC version of the Jupiter-9 lens. Hailed along with early(to 1965) versions as the best edition of this very fine lens. One of the best russian old lens. Very rare and very qualitative  M39  Jupiter-9 RF Silver  1960  KMZ  version lens with the best optics quality. KMZ factory !!! No Arsenal, no LZOS(Lytkarino)!!! Jupiter-9, quite compact and fast portrait lens. Developed for range finder cameras. Can be used on many other systems with an adapter. One of the best Russian portrait lenses.   The Jupiter-9 lens is quite good as a portrait painter. It gives a rather sharp, but plastic and three-dimensional picture. Due to the low resolution and low contrast, it transmits semitones well and hides skin defects. Not all lenses were produced at KMZ: some were produced by the Arsenal plant, and some were produced by LZOS(Lytkarino). The low production culture in Lytkarino and the associated almost 100% optical marriage caused unflattering reviews about this lens among amateur photographers. However, low-quality lenses produced by LZOS are, one might say, generally different Jupiter-9s, which manifest themselves during operation differently from Krasnogorsk or Arsenal ones. The best Jupiter-9 lenses can be considered white KMZ Jupiters, produced before 1965. Bokeh monster ! Unique aperture with 2 blades make a square - amazing unusual BOKEH!  Lens is in good condition. This lens is very desired and rare.  Limited edition.  Only about 7000 pieces were produced.   The optical scheme was borrowed from the Leica Leitz's Summicron 50  The lens has very high quality optical properties due to the use of very high quality lens glass (some sources say pure crystal is used).  A special feature of this lens is a two-bladed shutter, which forms a square aperture when covered.  Accordingly, the image made by the MC Lens Zenitar-ME1 50 mm f/1.7 has a specific bokeh. Zenit-18 + MC Zenitar-ME1 1.7/50 The Zenit-18 is a very rare SLR camera. Collector's item. It was only produced in small numbers.  Between 1980 and 1987 only 7001 Zenit-18s were made. That is why the camera is very rare and in great demand. Will be delivered with an even rarer Zenitar-ME1 lens (bokeh monster with square bokeh). Condition:  The Zenitar-ME1 lens is fully functional. The camera body has not been checked, therefore only offered as a collector's item or spare parts donor. MC Zenitar-ME1 1,7/50 considered  legendary soviet lens  for one simple reason - it has a diaphragm device in all  with two petals . When closed, the petals form  square hole . There are few lenses with such an unusual aperture shape in nature. The lens is quite rare and nowadays represents  collectible value ... At the same time MC Zenitar-ME1 1,7/50 was a standard lens for the rare and very expensive Zenit-18 camera , which could operate in aperture priority mode. The letter 'E' in the lens name stands for 'Electronic' (electronically controlled aperture). 'Zenith-18' could read the aperture value and,  using excerpts , set the optimal exposure in automatic mode. The diaphragm blades are made in the shape of the letter 'V', when two blades go over each other, it turns out to be a square. It may seem that there are 4 petals, but this is an optical illusion due to their specific shape. What makes this camera so special? It was one of the first Soviet SLR cameras to have an aperture priority program, simply set the aperture and the camera calculates the speed. An impressive achievement. Especially since the programs were fairly new in the late 1970s. The Lomo was released in 1983 and the Kiev 35a only in 1984/1985, but there were also other cams with programs, let's not forget the Zorki 10, which debuted much earlier, in 1964. But by the late seventies, programming on cameras became the norm, but the 18 was special. It also carried a lens with electrical contacts, a first in Soviet M42 optics. In fact, the lens of the Zenitar ME1 1.7/50mm is even considered rarer than the camera. The contacts are there for the camera so tha t the program can work with the lens wide open. Immediately the question 'Does the program work with other lenses?' appears. And I can say for sure, yes it does.   Zoom  Meteor 5-1 f/1.9 17-69mm cine lens M42 or  ARRI  PL mount for  Arri Red Aaton BMPCC Can be used with many system mirrorless cameras with the right M42 adapter. Panasonic, Sony, BMPCC, Nikon etc. For use on Canon cameras, something has to be modified. M42 mount needs to be lengthened a bit. The lens is for 16mm film camera, so it is recommended to use it on Black Magic Pocket Cinema Cameras to avoid vignetting, though it will vignette a bit even there at wide angles (F=17-20mm). The Meteor-5-1 17-69 mm f/ 1.9 (Russian: Метеор) is a zoom lens for Krasnogorsk-2 and Krasnogorsk-3 movie cameras. The lens came in variants with both the unique Krasnogorsk bayonet mount and the M42x1 mount (flange focal distance - 45.5 mm) The optical scheme of the lens includes 16 elements. Four elements make the principal lens; 12 elements in 5 groups are a part of the variable magnification and focusing system. (see the scheme) Focal length is changed by moving elements 2 and 4, whereas elements 3 and 5 are used to correct violations of bundle of rays parallelism. Front positive element 1 is used for focusing at finite distances from 1 m to infinity. The element is manually operated. The Meteor-5-1 lens is designed for a 7.45x10.05mm frame size. Perfect portrait lens  Helios 40-2 85mm ƒ/1,5  "Bokeh Miracle" USSR. Copy from Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar. King of swirly bokeh! The lens is fully functional and in very good condition.  It can be used with an adapter on modern SRL DSRL and mirrorless cameras.   The legendary Russian Helios-40 'Bokeh Miracle'. If there is a lens that can be called the ultimate Soviet legend, it would be the HELIOS-40 1.5/85. It's a blurry bokeh that has inspired many to try the vintage glass, and really, what this lens can do in the right conditions,  Everything else blows out of the water - vintage or modern. Produces a beautiful biotar-style bokeh - highlighting highlights in the focus as beautiful discs (under the right conditions) so the background swirls slightly. Russian (USSR) Helios-40 lenses are considered one of the best portrait lenses. Sometimes the combination of old and new can lead to startling results. There are a few fantastic analogue lenses, with adapters that blend well with modern digital cameras. One of them is the Russian portrait lens Helios 40 85mm f 1,5 . There is a lot of technical information about this lens on the internet, You can easily find it. The best thing about this lens is the excellent oil-painted bokeh at Aperture's F 1.5 -2. The background blurring has a noticeable "swirly bokeh" effect, especially with F 1.5 .

Famous Russian JUPITER-3 fast portrait lens M39 LEICA THREAD MOUNT (LTM) 13 rounded aperture blades Jupiter-3  super-fast lens with coated optics for  Leica, Bessa,   FED, Zorki and other rangefinder cameras with same lens mount and with same optical registration. It  was a replica of the German Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1.5/50. It can be mounted on any LTM RF camera, include modern Bessa cameras, and it can be used with many digital Micro 4/3 cameras with the adapter.
