Very rare and very qualitative  M39  Jupiter-9 RF Silver  1956  KMZ  version  #5603055 red П  lens with the best optics quality. KMZ factory !!! No Arsenal, no LZOS(Lytkarino)!!! Jupiter-9, quite compact and fast portrait lens in m39 mount(Zenit, Pentax, Practika etc) – will work on modern DSLRs as well as mirrorless systems: Sony NEX, Olympus Pen, Panasonic G, Canon EOS M, Nikon 1, FujiFilm XE-1 etc. One of the best Russian portrait lenses.   The Jupiter-9 lens is quite good as a portrait painter. It gives a rather sharp, but plastic and three-dimensional picture. Due to the low resolution and low contrast, it transmits semitones well and hides skin defects. Not all lenses were produced at KMZ: some were produced by the Arsenal plant, and some were produced by LZOS(Lytkarino). The low production culture in Lytkarino and the associated almost 100% optical marriage caused unflattering reviews about this lens among amateur photographers. However, low-quality lenses produced by LZOS are, one might say, generally different Jupiter-9s, which manifest themselves during operation differently from Krasnogorsk or Arsenal ones. The best Jupiter-9 lenses can be considered white KMZ Jupiters, produced before 1965. There are many Jupiter-9 85mm f/2 lenses currently on sale on the secondary market at quite attractive prices (the MC version is rare, though).  It is better to give preference to  lenses that were exported (Jupiter is written in Latin letters),  white/silver lenses before 1965  and black MC lenses after 1988. The Jupiter-9 short aperture telephoto lens is one of the most famous Soviet portrait lenses. The lens was developed on the basis of the Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 85/2  and has been produced since 1951 in a frame for rangefinder cameras of the Contax RF (Kyiv) and M39 LTM (Zorkiy, FED) systems. It is believed that the prototype Jupiter-9, "Zonnar-Krasnogorsky" ZK-85  was produced from German lens blocks from 1948 to 1951. ____________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 9-25 days, USA and Canada 12-35 days, other world 15-45 days.  This is a used item and may have traces of usage.  Purchasing old/vintage/used equipment please make sure it is compatible with your new cameras, lenses etc. you are going to use it with.  Please note that the delivery takes place from aboard, therefore customs fees are possible. MINT ! Condition: like new !  K3 K-3 Krasnogorsk-3 16mm movie camera Meteor 5-1 17-69mm f1.9 zoom lens There are four versions available: - Regular 16mm M42 mount - Converted to Super16 M42 mount - Converted to Ultra16 M42 mount - Arri PL mount(inkl. Super16 or Ultra16 conversion) The camera and lens has been checked, serviced and set correctly. Loop formers are removed. The viewfinder is adjusted. The Krasnogorsk-3 is a spring-wound 16mm mirror-reflex movie camera designed and manufactured in the USSR by KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant).  It was one of the most popular 16mm movie cameras in Eastern Europe, where it made a prominent appearance in Krzysztof Kieślowski's 1979 film Camera Buff, and continues to enjoy considerable popularity in the West. Director Spike Lee shot parts of his film Get on the Bus with a Krasnogorsk-3. The Krasnogorsk-3 uses standard 100-foot (30 m) load of 16mm film (single or double-perforation). There is no provision for an external magazine. The stock lens is the f/1.9 17–69 mm zoom lens Meteor-5-1, considered by many to be a quality optic. The M42 screw-mount allows for the use of widely available lenses from 35 mm still cameras such as Asahi Pentax Takumar lenses. The camera has a single pulldown claw and no registration pin. Film speed is adjustable from 8 frame/s to 48 frame/s; however, many cameras are capable of functioning at higher frame rates (upwards of 60 fps) if the adjusting dial is turned beyond the 48 fps indicating mark. A single-frame release at the back of the Krasnogorsk-3 allows for animation and other single-frame applications. Kranosgorsk works in all conditions, in cold, heat, rain and dust. This good camera for travel, expeditions, and in a war zone. The supplied zoom lens is of extremely high quality and is sufficient for almost any recording situation. Any Pentax screw mount lens will work on the K-3, so you can use any 35mm SLR lens on your K-3. The K-3 has been adopted by many film schools, including the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. It has a semi-automatic diaphragm setting. Its low price, rugged construction and sophisticated optics have made it very popular with both beginning filmmakers and professionals. Among the K-3's credits are music videos for the Spin Doctors and Suicidal Tendencies. The Krasnogorsk-3 features: 17-69mm f1.9 zoom precision Zenit Lens Electronic exposure meter Continuously variable speed from 8-48 fps Single-frame animation Rotating mirror beam-splitter Film counter __________________________________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 9-25 days, USA and Canada 15-35 days, other world 17-45 days. New! Jupiter-3+ F1.5/50mm L39/M Serail nummber # 0000002yy2   Art lens Lomography + Zenit(KMZ) Open box, never used lens. Joint production of the famous Austrian company Lomography and the Krasnogorsk Optical Plant KMZ. With the same superbly compact design and classic demeanor, the technical specifications of the original Jupiter 3 have been recalculated to make this highly specialized lens far more accessible to today's photographers. It is available with L39 and M mount  cameras as well as a wide range of other cameras with adapter mounts. The New Jupiter 3+ Art Lens is manufactured in small batches and is therefore only available in very limited quantities. The Jupiter was designed for 35mm film, so it covers a full-frame image circle, with its 50mm focal length delivering a traditional standard-angle field of view when paired with a full-frame body like the Sony Alpha 7 II or the Leica M. When paired with an APS-C mirrorless system the field of view narrows, approximating that of the 75mm prime on a full-frame system, and it narrows more on a Micro Four Thirds camera, matching the telephoto look of a 100mm lens on a full-frame body.   Pros: Character-forward optical design. Wide aperture. 0.7-meter focus. Rangefinder coupled. Compact. Excellent packaging. The "Ultra-16" format is a production format and differs from "Super-16" in the symmetrical arrangement of the frame to the film. It can be used to optically print redeemed film copies as well as to obtain high definition video in 16:9 format. Perfect portrait lens  Helios 40-2 85mm ƒ/1,5  "Bokeh Miracle" USSR. Copy from Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar. King of swirly bokeh! The lens is fully functional and in very good condition.  It can be used with an adapter on modern SRL DSRL and mirrorless cameras.   The legendary Russian Helios-40 'Bokeh Miracle'. If there is a lens that can be called the ultimate Soviet legend, it would be the HELIOS-40 1.5/85. It's a blurry bokeh that has inspired many to try the vintage glass, and really, what this lens can do in the right conditions,  Everything else blows out of the water - vintage or modern. Produces a beautiful biotar-style bokeh - highlighting highlights in the focus as beautiful discs (under the right conditions) so the background swirls slightly. Russian (USSR) Helios-40 lenses are considered one of the best portrait lenses. Sometimes the combination of old and new can lead to startling results. There are a few fantastic analogue lenses, with adapters that blend well with modern digital cameras. One of them is the Russian portrait lens Helios 40 85mm f 1,5 . There is a lot of technical information about this lens on the internet, You can easily find it. The best thing about this lens is the excellent oil-painted bokeh at Aperture's F 1.5 -2. The background blurring has a noticeable "swirly bokeh" effect, especially with F 1.5 .

Zoom  Meteor 5-1 f/1.9 17-69mm cine lens M42 or  ARRI  PL mount for  Arri Red Aaton BMPCC Can be used with many system mirrorless cameras with the right M42 adapter. Panasonic, Sony, BMPCC, Nikon etc. For use on Canon cameras, something has to be modified. M42 mount needs to be lengthened a bit. The lens is for 16mm film camera, so it is recommended to use it on Black Magic Pocket Cinema Cameras to avoid vignetting, though it will vignette a bit even there at wide angles (F=17-20mm). The Meteor-5-1 17-69 mm f/ 1.9 (Russian: Метеор) is a zoom lens for Krasnogorsk-2 and Krasnogorsk-3 movie cameras. The lens came in variants with both the unique Krasnogorsk bayonet mount and the M42x1 mount (flange focal distance - 45.5 mm) The optical scheme of the lens includes 16 elements. Four elements make the principal lens; 12 elements in 5 groups are a part of the variable magnification and focusing system. (see the scheme) Focal length is changed by moving elements 2 and 4, whereas elements 3 and 5 are used to correct violations of bundle of rays parallelism. Front positive element 1 is used for focusing at finite distances from 1 m to infinity. The element is manually operated. The Meteor-5-1 lens is designed for a 7.45x10.05mm frame size. Rear focal distance, i.e. distance from the rear element to the light detector, film or sensor, is approx. 15 mm. So the lens cannot be mounted on SLR cameras!!!  Image circle diameter when focusing to infinity and with the focal length of 17 mm is approx. 15 mm, and 18 mm with the focal length of 69 mm. Sensor diagonal (approx.): APS-C - 30 mm 4/3 - 22 mm Nikon CX - 16 mm So, in order to achieve good performance the lens should be used on Nikon 1 cameras: Nikon J1, Nikon V1. With 4/3 and APS-C cameras, the lens may be used for 1.5-2x digital zoom video shooting. Equivalent focal length on Sony NEX cameras is approx. 50 - 207 mm.  Meteor 5-1 Zoom Zoom Range: 17mm-69mm Maximum apature: f1.9 Minimum apature: f22 Minimum Focusing Distance: 2.0 meters Flange Focal Depth: 45.5mm Thread: M42x1mm (Pentax Screw) Filter Thread: 77x0.75mm ---------------------------------------------- See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 7-19 days, USA and Canada 12-35 days, other world 15-45 days. It is possible to order this lens with an "anamorphic" insert(oval diaphragm). Which makes the lens an "anamorphake" lens. You will get the images with anamorphic flare. Variations:  1. Mir-1 37/2.8 PL mount   2. Mir-1 37/2.8 PL mount and "anamorphic" insert. *Anamorphake: the lens delivers beautiful blue horizontal flare and oval bokeh while preserving the natural colors of the footage, allowing you to capture low-light and daylight scenes without color grading issues. Mir-1 is an interchangeable wide-angle fast lens. Equipped with an iris diaphragm with its pre-installation device. Coated optics. Received in 1958 the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Brussels (Expo-58). In 1959, the lens was awarded the Diploma of VDNKh of the USSR. The optical scheme was calculated by D. Volosov in 1954 under the glass formulations available in the USSR based on the Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mmf/2.8 lens, produced after the Second World War by the Carl Zeiss factory in Jena. It has a diverging meniscus as the first lens, which significantly reduces vignetting when shooting wide open. It was recommended for all types of filming. It was noted that it is especially valuable when shooting, requiring special sharpness of all image details. The lens really produces a fairly sharp picture. At the same time, the “volume” of the image is well preserved. _____________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 7-21 days, USA and Canada 10-35 days, other world 15-45 days.  This is a used item and may have traces of usage.  Purchasing old/vintage/used equipment please make sure it is compatible with your new cameras, lenses etc. you are going to use it with.  Please note that the delivery takes place from aboard, therefore customs fees are possible. Film gate for Krasnogorsk-3(-2, -1) 16mm movie camera  for Super 16(1.66:1 aspect ratio) or Ultra 16(1.85:1 aspect ratio) modification. After the purchase, please tell us which variant you want to have(buyers note). Super 16 is an image format used in film productions. The aspect ratio is 5 to 3 or 1:1.66. In contrast to the usual image on 16 mm film, Super 16 offers a good 20 percent more usable negative image area and therefore better resolution. Ultra 16  is an image format used in film productions. It is a format that offers a 1.85:1 aspect ratio which is great for both HD scanning or 35mm blowups. The placement of the perforation on a standard 16 mm film (on one side [or both sides, when using a double-perforated film] of the gaps between frames) allows the use of these usually unexposed areas. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See my other items to save shipping costs.  Please note that delivery may be delayed due to COVID. RO3-3M attracts with fourteen aperture blades and a peculiar picture, sharp in the center of the frame already at F/2. If there is a lens that can be called the ultimate Soviet legend, it would be the HELIOS-40.   It's swirly bokeh inspired by the vintage glass, and really, what the hell can it be? Creates beautiful biotar bokeh style - out of focus highlights are rendered as beautiful discs, making the background swirl slightly. Russian (USSR) Helios-40 lenses are considered one of the best portrait lenses. Sometimes the combination of old and new can lead to startling results. There are a few fantastic analogue lenses with adapters that blend well with modern digital cameras. One of them is the Russian portrait lens Helios 40.    The best feature of this lens is the excellent oil-painted Bokeh at Apertures F1.5-2. The background blur has, in particular, in the case of F1.5 is an eye-catching "swirly bokeh" effect. See my other items to save shipping costs. This is a used item and may have traces of usage. This is much more stable and durable. Salyut-S (or Salut-S = Салют-C) is a medium format SLR film system camera, manufactured by Arsenal factory, in Kiev, Ukraine, former USSR and produced between 1972-1980, amount about 30.000 . First models of Salyut were probably the near copies of Hasselblad 1000F or 1600F. Salyut-S is the very modified model of the first Salyut, and a modified lens mount which has the same thread and adds to the known shutter adjustment piston. This allows complete automation of the lenses and the use of extension tubes and a teleconverter. The Salyut / Kiev 88 models are sometimes affectionately called "Hasselbladski" because of their resemblance to a Hasselblad. The Salut was the first attempt of the Soviet camera industry to produce a sophisticated medium format camera. It was probably a copy of the Hasselblad 1600. The Soviets claimed that both the Hasselblad and Salut came from a Nazi prototype, but none of these alleged predecessors were ever seen, so this origin is doubtful. These cameras were very expensive with 400 rubles, which corresponded to the average Soviet citizen a salary of 6 months. This means that the production was very limited and  these cameras are rare.
