Early HELIOS-44 f2/58mm silver KMZ 13 blades  00xxxxx serial number The lens has been serviced: cleaned, lubricated, adjusted (CLA). The legendary Helios-44 lens (13 blades) inspired by the German Carl Zeiss «Biotar 2/58». The optical design was taken from Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58. Zeiss lenses are still famous for their excellent quality and imaging. The version of the Helios-44 lens with a 13-blade aperture makes the most artistic picture. Lenses were also produced with serial numbers starting with one, two or three zeros. It has been suggested on the forums that they were intended for executives of various ranks. The lens is quite sharp already at full aperture. At F / 2.0, good sharpness is obtained, which allows you to use it in poor lighting, and at 2.0 you can get good portraits. Helios-44 is excellent for photographing portraits - and therefore it is still very much loved by modern photographers. The optical element (glass) of this lens allows you to obtain images with better focus and contrast. The first(silver) versions of Helios-44 KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Zavod) lenses are considered the best in their category. Helios-44 is an interesting lens with an amazing image and a fixed focal length of 58mm. The aperture has 13 blades. Stop at fixed values. When the aperture is closed, the lens produces almost uniform circles in the out-of-focus area. Focusing range from 0.5 meter to infinity. The aperture has fixed values from 2.0 to 16.0. The lens is quite sharp at f/2.0 aperture, allowing for great portraits with fantastic swirling bokeh. The lens has a very specific bokeh. Many photographers are of the opinion that Helios44 is better by features in the first edition, under M-39. This is because quality control was better in the 50's and early 60's. _____________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 7-21 days, USA and Canada 10-35 days, other world 15-45 days.  This is a used item and may have traces of usage.  Purchasing old/vintage/used equipment please make sure it is compatible with your new cameras, lenses etc. you are going to use it with.  Please note that the delivery takes place from aboard, therefore customs fees are possible.   PL mount Ultra  16  Krasnogorsk-3 16mm Movie camera  K3 K-3 Meteor 5-1 17-69mm f1.9 zoom lens The camera is converted to Ultra16 (1.85:1 ratio) film format . CLA'd. Cleaned, lubricated, adjusted. An Arri PL mount was attached to the camera like ARRI, Aaton, Alexa, Amira, Red, Canon, Blackmagic, Sony, Leica, Carl Zeiss, Angénieux, Cooke and others lenses with PL mount. The camera and lens has been checked, serviced and set correctly. Loop formers are removed. The viewfinder is adjusted. The "Ultra-16" format is also a production format and differs from the "Super-16" in the symmetrical arrangement of the frame relative to the film. The frame "Ultra-16" is obtained by increasing the standard by 0.77 mm on each side in width. In this case, the corners of the exposed area partially overlap the perforation. Useful frame area with aspect ratio 1,85:1 occupies the entire height between perforations and is 11.8x6.25mm. It is possible to print cassetted film copies optically, as well as to receive high-definition video in 16:9 format.  The advantage of the format lies in the simpler alteration of standard filming equipment than for the "Super-16" with the same frame area. With the Ultra 16 format, you can use a film with both single-sided and double-sided perforations. A regular viewfinder can be used for framing, since the frame window is bored symmetrically. All 16mm optics without lateral displacement of the mount remain usable. The optical axis remains in the same place! Moreover, viewing the resulting film is possible with a standard film projector with a slight cutting of the image on the right and left, and after finalizing the film channel, the frame is visible in its entirety. Kranosgorsk works in all conditions, in cold, heat, rain and dust. This good camera for travel, expeditions, and in a war zone. The supplied zoom lens is of extremely high quality and is sufficient for almost any recording situation. Any Pentax screw mount lens will work on the K-3, so you can use any 35mm SLR lens on your K-3. The K-3 has been adopted by many film schools, including the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. It has a semi-automatic diaphragm setting. Its low price, rugged construction and sophisticated optics have made it very popular with both beginning filmmakers and professionals. Among the K-3's credits are music videos for the Spin Doctors and Suicidal Tendencies. Director Spike Lee shot some of the footage in his film Get On The Bus using a K3. There is a photo of Spike holding a K-3 on the cover of the soundtrack CD. The Krasnogorsk-3 features: 17-69mm f1.9 zoom precision Zenit Lens Electronic exposure meter Continuously variable speed from 8-48 fps Single-frame animation Rotating mirror beam-splitter Film counter __________________________________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 9-25 days, USA and Canada 15-35 days, other world 17-45 days. Perfect portrait lens  Helios 40-2 85mm ƒ/1,5  "Bokeh Miracle" USSR. New and unused. Copy from Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar. King of swirly bokeh! It can be used with an adapter on modern SRL DSRL and mirrorless cameras.   The legendary Russian Helios-40 'Bokeh Miracle'. If there is a lens that can be called the ultimate Soviet legend, it would be the HELIOS-40 1.5/85. It's a blurry bokeh that has inspired many to try the vintage glass, and really, what this lens can do in the right conditions,  Everything else blows out of the water - vintage or modern. Produces a beautiful biotar-style bokeh - highlighting highlights in the focus as beautiful discs (under the right conditions) so the background swirls slightly. Russian (USSR) Helios-40 lenses are considered one of the best portrait lenses. Sometimes the combination of old and new can lead to startling results. There are a few fantastic analogue lenses, with adapters that blend well with modern digital cameras. One of them is the Russian portrait lens Helios 40 85mm f 1,5 . There is a lot of technical information about this lens on the internet, You can easily find it. The best thing about this lens is the excellent oil-painted bokeh at Aperture's F 1.5 -2. The background blurring has a noticeable "swirly bokeh" effect, especially with F 1.5 . --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 9-25 days, USA and Canada 15-35 days, other world 17-45 days. To weaken the effect of blue-blue rays on the emulsion layer of photographic film. When shooting a blue sky with clouds, it enhances the contrast. Y-2x yellow. Absorbs blue-blue rays to a greater extent than the Zh-1.4x light filter. The blue sky turns out to be gray, of medium density. Weakens the effect of atmospheric haze.  Y-2x dark yellow. he dark yellow light filter acts like the yellow ZhS-17, but is stronger than it, distorting the tone reproduction in the direction of enhancing the filtering. In a landscape, a dark yellow filter increases contrast, highlights clouds in an intensified, pale blue sky, renders a bright blue sky dark with a strong selection of clouds, well reveals bluish distances, destroys aerial perspective. On "Isochrome" and "Isopanchrome" the filter highlights the green tones. O- orange. An orange light filter is used in cases where it is required to violate the correct tone reproduction, it is not applicable for normal shooting. The filter lightens the red color, renders the blue color excessively dark, greatly enhances the contrasts. Positive attachment lens: Increases the relative aperture of the system (slightly). Decreases the minimum focusing distance of the lens. Zooms in on shooting while keeping the lens extended. Reduces the distance to the sharp object while maintaining the lens extension. The indisputable advantage of attachment lenses for macro photography is the preservation of TTL exposure meter and autofocus functions, as well as the absence of exposure shift. Attachment lens, a lens attached to the lens to change its focal length. Positive N. l. reduces the focal length, negative - increases. Positive N. l. are used for large-scale shooting (macro shooting) with photo and movie cameras, in which the extension of the lens towards the object being shot is limited. The technique of photographing with attached lenses does not differ from the technique of photographing with intermediate rings. When photographing with attachment lenses, you do not need to increase the shutter speed (whereas when using intermediate rings, changing the shutter speed is necessary,   _____________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs. Wide-angle Mir-1 37/2.8 PL mount Soviet lens. The lens was converted to ARRI PL mount. With the ability to focus to infinity. It is possible to order this lens with an "anamorphic" insert(oval diaphragm). Which makes the lens an "anamorphake" lens. You will get the images with anamorphic flare. Variations:  1. Mir-1 37/2.8 PL mount   2. Mir-1 37/2.8 PL mount and "anamorphic" insert. *Anamorphake: the lens delivers beautiful blue horizontal flare and oval bokeh while preserving the natural colors of the footage, allowing you to capture low-light and daylight scenes without color grading issues. Mir-1 is an interchangeable wide-angle fast lens. Equipped with an iris diaphragm with its pre-installation device. Coated optics. Received in 1958 the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition in Brussels (Expo-58). In 1959, the lens was awarded the Diploma of VDNKh of the USSR. The optical scheme was calculated by D. Volosov in 1954 under the glass formulations available in the USSR based on the Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mmf/2.8 lens, produced after the Second World War by the Carl Zeiss factory in Jena. It has a diverging meniscus as the first lens, which significantly reduces vignetting when shooting wide open. It was recommended for all types of filming. It was noted that it is especially valuable when shooting, requiring special sharpness of all image details. The lens really produces a fairly sharp picture. At the same time, the “volume” of the image is well preserved. Modernized Adapter M42 to Arri PL and OCT18 to ARRI PL Mount This adapter has been modernized. Three additional countersunk screws were attached to the adapter. So that your lens cannot rotate in the adapter when focusing. This means that the distance from the rear glass element to the camera sensor or film element always remains the same. With the OCT18-PL adapter you can use many Russian cinema lenses of the OKC or PO series from LOMO or KMZ on cameras with Arri PL mount.  This is not a definitive solution, but with this adapter you can test Russian OCT18 lenses on your PL-mount camera and see if and how they work at all before making a much more expensive conversion from OCT18 to Pl-mount. You can also have such conversions carried out at Tiras Photo. Variations: M42-PL adapter for M42 screw lens to ARRI PL mount camera. OCT18-PL adapter for OCT18 mount russian cine lenses to ARRI PL mount camera.
