It is assumed that all lenses produced before 1954 are equipped with Carl Zeiss glass from reparations to the Soviet Union.

At the beginning, it was produced from captured Zeiss block lenses, exported from Germany after the war as reparations (descriptions of technologies, Schott equipment, as well as various structural materials, including optical glass, were also exported), and was referred to as the Zonnar Krasnogorsky lens (ZK). After it was renamed Jupiter-3.

In 1954, after the stocks of German optical glass were exhausted, the Jupiter-3 lens was recalculated by M.D. Maltsev on domestic glass. The lens barrel has also been slightly changed, for example, the focus ring has been redesigned. In 1955, the converted Jupiter-3 50 mm f/ 1.5 was put into mass production.

Aperture iris, rounded, 13 petals. Changes manually smoothly, not discretely, so any intermediate values ​​​​are possible. This feature is also appreciated in video shooting for creating effects.

The Jupiter - 3 50 mm f/ 1.5 lens forms a very beautiful, plastic image with good contrast, has a 'characteristic' pattern. An amazing combination of softness and sharpness, beautiful bokeh - made it very popular with portrait photographers. The 'German' versions of this lens (manufactured before 1955) are especially valued and distinguished by their design.

Jupiter-3 super-fast lens with coated optics for Leica, Bessa, FED, Zorki and other rangefinder cameras with same lens mount and with same optical registration.

It was a replica of the German Carl Zeiss Sonnar 1.5/50.

It can be mounted on any LTM RF camera, include modern Bessa cameras, and it can be used with many digital Micro 4/3 cameras with the adapter. In the main, most Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this is no exception!

At f/1.5 it really is all about the background. For portraits with the background way out of focus you can get very very smooth bokeh.

The Jupiter-3renders very beautiful, flexible image with good contrast and "characteristic" bokeh. The amazing combination of softness and sharpness, as well as beautiful bokeh, made it very popular among portrait photographers. The "german" versions of this lens are especially popular and distinguished for its bokeh.

The Jupiter-3  can be used on mirrorless cameras such as the Sony NEX or the Micro 4/3 system cameras.

The "Ultra-16" format is a production format and differs from "Super-16" in the symmetrical arrangement of the frame to the film. In this case, the corners of the exposed area partially enter the perforation. The usable area of the frame with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 occupies the entire height between the perforations and is 11.8×6.25mm. It can be used to optically print redeemed film copies as well as to obtain high definition video in 16:9 format. The Krasnogorsk-3 (Красногорск-3) is a 16-mm windup camera  made in the former Soviet Union.  The K-3 has been adopted by many film schools, including the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. Very rare and very qualitative  M39  Jupiter-9 SLR Silver  1962  KMZ  version lens with the best optics quality. KMZ factory !!! No Arsenal, no LZOS(Lytkarino)!!! Jupiter-9, quite compact and fast portrait lens in m39 mount(Zenit, Pentax, Practika etc) – will work on modern DSLRs as well as mirrorless systems: Sony NEX, Olympus Pen, Panasonic G, Canon EOS M, Nikon 1, FujiFilm XE-1 etc. One of the best Russian portrait lenses.  The Jupiter-9 lens is quite good as a portrait painter. It gives a rather sharp, but plastic and three-dimensional picture. Due to the low resolution and low contrast, it transmits semitones well and hides skin defects. The Jupiter-9 short aperture telephoto lens is one of the most famous Soviet portrait lenses. The lens was developed on the basis of the Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 85/2 and has been produced since 1951 in a frame for rangefinder cameras of the Contax RF (Kyiv) and M39 LTM (Zorkiy, FED) systems. It is believed that the prototype Jupiter-9, "Zonnar-Krasnogorsky" ZK-85  was produced from German lens blocks from 1948 to 1951. Not all lenses were produced at KMZ: some were produced by the Arsenal plant, and some were produced by LZOS(Lytkarino). The low production culture in Lytkarino and the associated almost 100% optical marriage caused unflattering reviews about this lens among amateur photographers. However, low-quality lenses produced by LZOS are, one might say, generally different Jupiter-9s, which manifest themselves during operation differently from Krasnogorsk or Arsenal ones. The best Jupiter-9 lenses can be considered white KMZ Jupiters, produced before 1965. Early version 1958  Salut  Type 2  medium format camera. Absolutely rare: with an original factory passport. Very rare version of the Russian copy of the famous Hasselblad medium format camera. Collector's item, rarity.  This Salyut has shutter speeds up to 1/1500 . Later models only have shutter speeds up to 1/1000. Very few such cameras have been made. Real collector's item. Type 2 1958-65 Speeds: 1/2-1/1500 +B  (early types) The Salyut (later Kiev-88) was very expensive when it was built, about half a year’s salary for an average Soviet worker, and was therefore sold and produced in very small numbers. We ship all the parcels from Moldova via trackable services. 

First a parcel is sent by delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada or Europe.
