The chin strap on this helmet was made of khaki fabric or leather. The helmet was painted olive or khaki, sometimes a five-pointed star was depicted on the front of the helmet. On the inside of the helmet, in the back of the head, an original stamp was affixed. The steel helmet was made in three sizes: № 1, 2, 3 (see the stamp).
