“The Seagull”/Chaika"   is a model of mechanical wristwatches produced by the Chaika watch factory, produced until 2006. On June 16, 1963, on the spacecraft Vostok-6, Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova made her first space flight (and concurrently the world's first flight of a female cosmonaut), which lasted almost three days. In honor of this historic event, all watches produced by the Uglich watch factory began to be produced under the brand name “Chaika” (Valentina Tereshkova's call sign was “Chaika”). In the collections “The Seagull”/Chaika"  there are many miniature watches with a diameter of less than 2.5 centimeters. At the same time, the mechanisms contain a record number of stones. Why are they inside the product? The crystals between the metal elements reduce their friction, and hence wear. The watch "Seagull" 17 stones. In the center of the balance knots are diamonds.
