Ancient Roman bronze buckles from the first century AD are amazing artifacts which give an insight into the material culture and fashion of the Roman Empire at that time. Buckles were an integral component of Roman clothing and were used to fasten belts, belts and harnesses. They were not only functional, but also served as decorative elements.

Roman bronze buckles were usually made from an alloy of copper and tin known as bronze. This material was chosen for its strength and malleability, which allowed skilled craftsmen to create intricate patterns. The buckles were cast using the wax model method, when the wax model of the buckle was smeared with clay, heated, and the molten bronze was poured into the mold. After cooling and hardening, the clay was removed, leaving a solid bronze buckle.

Archaeologists and historians have discovered many Roman bronze buckles during excavations and in museum collections around the world. These artifacts provide valuable information about Roman fashion, military equipment, and craftsmanship. They provide insight into the complex details of Roman daily life, social hierarchy, and artistic appreciation.

Delivery method

We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages. 

First a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada or Europe. 

You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to 12-18 days.

Express delivery is available only on individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.

Customs duties and taxes
