Figure height 4.3 cm, length ( side view) 5.7 cm. Why was this figurine born?  It's hard to answer.  I love animals, but I've never made a deer before.  Decided to try.  When the deer was ready, it seemed to me that something was missing.  And made the Buddha on horseback.  Then I came across information that historically, it was in the Deer Park that Gautama Buddha gave his first teaching. In addition, deer are fabulous creatures for me, graceful and kind.  I hope you love deer too. The Buddha on the Deer is made of natural clay. A detailed and interesting figure. The color in reality may differ from the color on your monitor.  This miniature sculpture is a  perfect addition to your tea ceremony, as the figurine is not afraid of boiling water. If you will often water with dark tea it may darken,will get a different shade. Be careful - do not drop this mini sculpture, it is fragile, and do not give it to children as a toy
