Description

 Medium format SLR Revue 6

6 export version of Salut camera.

Working condition. Checked, cleaned, lubricated.

Very rare version of the Russian copy of the famous Hasselblad medium format camera. Collector's item, rarity R4

The Revue 6×6 is a medium format camera. The camera was built by Arsenal in Ukraine, at that time still part of the Soviet Union. In Germany, the model was then sold by Foto-Quelle under its own private label. The Revue 6×6 is based on the Salyut.

The Revue 6x6 is the same as a Kyiv-80 or Zenith-80, they called it Revue for import. But much rarer under this name - Revue 6×6.

Very few such cameras have been made. Real collector's item.
Less common export version of Salyut camera, under name "Zenith-80". Fitted with Industar-29 2.8/80mm lens. "Made in USSR" markings on the side-plate.
Then came the Salyut-S which was exported under the name of the Zenith 80. It’s a copy of the Hasselblad 1000F.

These cameras were very expensive at 400 Rubles, which represented 6 months salary to the average Soviet citizen. This means that production was very limited and these cameras and lenses are rare. Variation three can also be found marked Zenit 80 and were produced for TO&E in England

Camera type SLR camera

Production country Soviet Union, Ukraine

The Salyut (later Kiev-88) was very expensive when it was built, about half a year’s salary for an average Soviet worker,
and was therefore sold and produced in very small numbers. This means that production has been very limited and these cameras and lenses are rare.

The camera is very robust and does what it should do:
a lot of fun and, above all, VERY good photos that are in no way inferior to those of an expensive ROLLEI or HASSELBLAD.

MINT ! Condition: like new !  K3 K-3 Krasnogorsk-3 16mm movie camera Meteor 5-1 17-69mm f1.9 zoom lens There are four versions available: - Regular 16mm M42 mount - Converted to Super16 M42 mount - Converted to Ultra16 M42 mount - Arri PL mount(inkl. Super16 or Ultra16 conversion) The camera and lens has been checked, serviced and set correctly. Loop formers are removed. The viewfinder is adjusted. The Krasnogorsk-3 is a spring-wound 16mm mirror-reflex movie camera designed and manufactured in the USSR by KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant).  It was one of the most popular 16mm movie cameras in Eastern Europe, where it made a prominent appearance in Krzysztof Kieślowski's 1979 film Camera Buff, and continues to enjoy considerable popularity in the West. Director Spike Lee shot parts of his film Get on the Bus with a Krasnogorsk-3. The Krasnogorsk-3 uses standard 100-foot (30 m) load of 16mm film (single or double-perforation). There is no provision for an external magazine. The stock lens is the f/1.9 17–69 mm zoom lens Meteor-5-1, considered by many to be a quality optic. The M42 screw-mount allows for the use of widely available lenses from 35 mm still cameras such as Asahi Pentax Takumar lenses. The camera has a single pulldown claw and no registration pin. Film speed is adjustable from 8 frame/s to 48 frame/s; however, many cameras are capable of functioning at higher frame rates (upwards of 60 fps) if the adjusting dial is turned beyond the 48 fps indicating mark. A single-frame release at the back of the Krasnogorsk-3 allows for animation and other single-frame applications. Kranosgorsk works in all conditions, in cold, heat, rain and dust. This good camera for travel, expeditions, and in a war zone. The supplied zoom lens is of extremely high quality and is sufficient for almost any recording situation. Any Pentax screw mount lens will work on the K-3, so you can use any 35mm SLR lens on your K-3. The K-3 has been adopted by many film schools, including the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. It has a semi-automatic diaphragm setting. Its low price, rugged construction and sophisticated optics have made it very popular with both beginning filmmakers and professionals. Among the K-3's credits are music videos for the Spin Doctors and Suicidal Tendencies. The Krasnogorsk-3 features: 17-69mm f1.9 zoom precision Zenit Lens Electronic exposure meter Continuously variable speed from 8-48 fps Single-frame animation Rotating mirror beam-splitter Film counter __________________________________________________________ See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 9-25 days, USA and Canada 15-35 days, other world 17-45 days.   Zoom  Meteor 5-1 f/1.9 17-69mm cine lens M42 or  ARRI  PL mount for  Arri Red Aaton BMPCC Can be used with many system mirrorless cameras with the right M42 adapter. Panasonic, Sony, BMPCC, Nikon etc. For use on Canon cameras, something has to be modified. M42 mount needs to be lengthened a bit. The lens is for 16mm film camera, so it is recommended to use it on Black Magic Pocket Cinema Cameras to avoid vignetting, though it will vignette a bit even there at wide angles (F=17-20mm). The Meteor-5-1 17-69 mm f/ 1.9 (Russian: Метеор) is a zoom lens for Krasnogorsk-2 and Krasnogorsk-3 movie cameras. The lens came in variants with both the unique Krasnogorsk bayonet mount and the M42x1 mount (flange focal distance - 45.5 mm) The optical scheme of the lens includes 16 elements. Four elements make the principal lens; 12 elements in 5 groups are a part of the variable magnification and focusing system. (see the scheme) Focal length is changed by moving elements 2 and 4, whereas elements 3 and 5 are used to correct violations of bundle of rays parallelism. Front positive element 1 is used for focusing at finite distances from 1 m to infinity. The element is manually operated. The Meteor-5-1 lens is designed for a 7.45x10.05mm frame size. Rear focal distance, i.e. distance from the rear element to the light detector, film or sensor, is approx. 15 mm. So the lens cannot be mounted on SLR cameras!!!  Image circle diameter when focusing to infinity and with the focal length of 17 mm is approx. 15 mm, and 18 mm with the focal length of 69 mm. Sensor diagonal (approx.): APS-C - 30 mm 4/3 - 22 mm Nikon CX - 16 mm So, in order to achieve good performance the lens should be used on Nikon 1 cameras: Nikon J1, Nikon V1. With 4/3 and APS-C cameras, the lens may be used for 1.5-2x digital zoom video shooting. Equivalent focal length on Sony NEX cameras is approx. 50 - 207 mm.  Meteor 5-1 Zoom Zoom Range: 17mm-69mm Maximum apature: f1.9 Minimum apature: f22 Minimum Focusing Distance: 2.0 meters Flange Focal Depth: 45.5mm Thread: M42x1mm (Pentax Screw) Filter Thread: 77x0.75mm ---------------------------------------------- See my other items to save shipping costs.  Usual shipping time (with tracking) to EU 7-19 days, USA and Canada 12-35 days, other world 15-45 days.   PL mount Ultra  16  Krasnogorsk-3 16mm Movie camera  K3 K-3 Meteor 5-1 17-69mm f1.9 zoom lens The camera is converted to Ultra16 (1.85:1 ratio) film format . CLA'd. Cleaned, lubricated, adjusted. An Arri PL mount was attached to the camera like ARRI, Aaton, Alexa, Amira, Red, Canon, Blackmagic, Sony, Leica, Carl Zeiss, Angénieux, Cooke and others lenses with PL mount. The camera and lens has been checked, serviced and set correctly. Loop formers are removed. The viewfinder is adjusted. The "Ultra-16" format is also a production format and differs from the "Super-16" in the symmetrical arrangement of the frame relative to the film. The frame "Ultra-16" is obtained by increasing the standard by 0.77 mm on each side in width. In this case, the corners of the exposed area partially overlap the perforation. Useful frame area with aspect ratio 1,85:1 occupies the entire height between perforations and is 11.8x6.25mm. It is possible to print cassetted film copies optically, as well as to receive high-definition video in 16:9 format.  The advantage of the format lies in the simpler alteration of standard filming equipment than for the "Super-16" with the same frame area. With the Ultra 16 format, you can use a film with both single-sided and double-sided perforations. A regular viewfinder can be used for framing, since the frame window is bored symmetrically. All 16mm optics without lateral displacement of the mount remain usable. The optical axis remains in the same place! Moreover, viewing the resulting film is possible with a standard film projector with a slight cutting of the image on the right and left, and after finalizing the film channel, the frame is visible in its entirety. Kranosgorsk works in all conditions, in cold, heat, rain and dust. This good camera for travel, expeditions, and in a war zone. The supplied zoom lens is of extremely high quality and is sufficient for almost any recording situation.
