If there is a lens that can be called the ultimate Soviet legend, it would be the HELIOS-40 1.5/85. It's a blurry bokeh that has inspired many to try the vintage glass, and really, what this lens can do in the right conditions,  Everything else blows out of the water - vintage or modern. Produces a beautiful biotar-style bokeh - highlighting highlights in the focus as beautiful discs (under the right conditions) so the background swirls slightly. Modernized Adapter M42 to Arri PL and OCT18 to ARRI PL Mount This adapter has been modernized. Three additional countersunk screws were attached to the adapter. So that your lens cannot rotate in the adapter when focusing. This means that the distance from the rear glass element to the camera sensor or film element always remains the same.
