Tea pair HOKUSAI. Two bowls represent a man and a woman. One bowl depicts a samurai man. On the second - a wise Japanese wife with scrolls. Drawings taken from Hokusai's sketch. On the bowls they are hand-painted by me with a brush. Outside and inside bowls are covered with food safe ceramic glaze. The bowls were fired twice in an oven at 1040 degrees Celsius. The capacity of bowls is 45-50 ml. Height 5.5-6 cm (since the bowls are made by hand without using a potter's wheel, they are not even and this gives them charm).

The products are made of Ukrainian clay but using a small amount of Spanish clay. I use engobe and high-quality glaze to finish the figures. Failures may be due to a lack of experience in embroidery, improper stabilization, inappropriate material for a given design, or incorrectly adjusted technique.  - I recommend making a sample on the same or similar material before embroidering a design on a product. There are materials that can behave unpredictably in embroidery. From practice, I know that several materials from the same manufacturer, with the same price, and the same name may differ in quality. One material is more elastic, the other is flabby, loose, and of course they will behave differently in embroidery. The height of the figurine 2.60 in, the length of the horse 2.99 in. The figurine of a child on a horse is one-piece, made of clay, the shirt is covered with white food glaze. According to my idea, this is a figurine of a Chinese child on a wooden horse with a traditional Chinese pattern. I think it turned out very nice. Children love to ride horses, so I decided to make such an unusual miniature figure. A little about care - the figurine is not afraid of water, but it does not need to be washed in the dishwasher; it is fragile, so please do not give it to children as a toy.
