And also here we will try to answer the question: 'Are you sure you are not outbid?' So, our production is divided into several main and important stages: Cut open We work exclusively with genuine leather. She comes to us in the so-called “half-leathers”. In a nutshell, this is a cattle hide cut in half. Somewhere it is thinner, somewhere thicker, somewhere it stretches, and somewhere it is dense, like a piece of wood. Therefore, in our work we carry out cutting of leather exclusively by hand. This allows you to select the best parts of the leather for the product, allowing you not to worry about the quality of the finished product in the future. Markup At this stage, with the assistance of patterns, we mark the workpiece for further sewing. Round corners, install buttons, glue zippers, check fittings for defects, etc. This stage is especially important, because an incorrectly set point or a drawn line will ruin the part, and you will have to return to cutting again. Penetration of products for sewing Quite often we see the phrase “100% handmade”. And we are also often disappointed, because after going to the store page (or website) we can easily determine whether this is manual work at all. It turns out you, and we, among other things, are being deceived. We rightfully position ourselves as a workshop for the manufacture of handmade leather goods. This is really so, because wallets, women's and men's wallets, men's clutches (with the exception of the Baltimore models and the A4 folder) are all real 100% handmade. We make seam holes using a hammer and a special punch. Sweat over this product centimeter by centimeter to make it perfect. Just compare the seams. Thick waxed thread or machine seam thread, what do you prefer?) Therefore, considering the pricing policy with other stores, our products are a little more expensive. We always answer: “Don't look cheap - search with quality!”; Sewing: Hands VS Sewing Machine As mentioned above - we make handmade products. Moreover, we sew such products as bags and backpacks with a machine. Exceptions (currently) are Orjeunesse, Connecticut and Connecticut 2.0 bags. Everything here is stitched by hand. Sewing is a rather laborious process. And if we compare the time spent on a wallet and the time spent on sewing a bag, then wallets are often sewn longer. We also have a Shunfa brand squaring machine. We got it relatively recently, especially for one of our largest corporate orders. We use thick leather in our work, mainly 1.5-1.7 mm. Package The finished product undergoes final inspection and prepares for shipment .
