Subsequently, I found, by the characteristic outlines of the hull, that the ship is a cargo ship CITY OF SWANSEA - one of five owned by Ellerman Lines and a tugboat - a bright representative of the Liverpool Fighting Cock docks of Liverpool Screw Towing. Unfortunately, the name of the author of the photograph from the D.B. Hillman Collection is not known.
