The Yak-3 is a Soviet single-engine fighter aircraft, a single-seat, single-engine piston fighter-monoplane of mixed design. Operation of the Yak-3 outside the USSR: Albania: in the late 1940s, several Yak-3 aircraft, removed from service with the Yugoslav Air Force, were transferred to the Albanian Air Force without approval from the USSR.
