Description

Tea pair HOKUSAI. Two bowls represent a man and a woman. One bowl depicts a samurai man. On the second - a wise Japanese wife with scrolls. Drawings taken from Hokusai's sketch. On the bowls they are hand-painted by me with a brush. Outside and inside bowls are covered with food safe ceramic glaze. The bowls were fired twice in an oven at 1040 degrees Celsius. The capacity of bowls is 45-50 ml. Height 5.5-6 cm (since the bowls are made by hand without using a potter's wheel, they are not even and this gives them charm).

Dragon in glaze (number four) is a decoration and tea pet for Gongfu cha.
The dragon figurine is 35 mm high, 66 mm long. Made of natural clay by hand, painted with a brush. After the first firing in an electric kiln, the dragon was covered with transparent glaze and once again underwent firing. This is the fourth dragon (there were five similar but different colors), there is a number at the bottom of the figure. This is a limited edition collection at an affordable price, as 2024 is the year of the Dragon and the corresponding figurine will bring prosperity to the home.

Miniature ceramic hare (rabbit) handmade tea pet, small statue for desk or shelf decor.
Hare (rabbit) height 1.46 in, length 3.23 in. This ceramic Hare has minimalistic body shape but well- detailed head,  minimum of black glossy ceramic food glaze that highlights only slightly sketched areas of wool. Small ceramic boy fisherman with carp is unique handmade tea pet, unusual desk miniature statue.
Boy height 2.13 in, width 1.50 in. A smiling Chinese boy with a sacred fish in his hands is one of the sweetest sculptures of my creative workshop. In Chinese and Japanese everyday life the figurines of children, especially boys, have a large and pronounced symbolism. Netsuke Karako (a Chinese little boy) is the wish of a male heir who would occupy a high social position and thus will bring prosperity to the family. Karako is considered a benevolent symbol, bringing happiness, luck and well-being. In addition to this, the joyful boy is depicted with the sacred fish Tai, which on its tail brings happiness. The baby and the fish are made of red terracotta clay, covered with black glaze. The glaze did not color the figure but only emphasized the lines. The boy’s robe is covered with bright yellow-orange glaze. In front of you is a very beautiful original product. A miniature figurine of a girl with a cat is a unique gift for a cat lover, tea figurine, desk decor
Figurine height 2.20 in, width 2.44 in.  A very interesting and unusual figurine. I call her Geisha with a cat. Sometimes you are going to blind one thing, it turns out completely different. So it happened with this figure. This girl is a cat lover. She is gentle and charming.  I think everyone can put their own meaning into this ceramic figure. Handmade Winter Hare figurine is unique tea pet and small decor.
Figure height 5.2 cm, length ( side view) 6 cm.  I present to you the Winter Hare. He can easily hide in the snow because of its coloring. The figurine is made of natural clay. The Winter Hare unique detailed and at the same time minimalistic figure. The eyes are underlined with black icing.  White icing shows through the texture of the wool, which gives the figurine a special charm. The Hare perfect addition to your tea ceremony, as the figurine is not afraid of boiling water. If you will often water with dark tea it may darken in some places, get a different shade. But be careful - do not drop this mini sculpture, it is fragile, and do not give it to children as a toy.

Amazing work ❤️✨ The figurines are very expressive and all have a unique character and attitude that are communicative, and somehow relaxing or amusing. They have strong personality and deserve a place of choice in a collection of as tea pets for example :)

A huge shout-out to terracottagryf for making another amazing tea & lofi loving tea pal to join me for my tea sessions. First made was a red panda, and now this amazingly detailed red fox. Incredible craftsmanship can be seen and felt in each work terracottagryf creates! Excellent customer service, excellent prices, excellent shipping. Highly recommend to everyone.

It was an easy purchase, no trouble using the platform. The packaging was done with perfection and care. No damage at all. The product is very beautiful and shows the art and soul in every detail. Along with the sculpture I received an elegant fine paper with the drawing of the product, nice touch. Even the box was decorated with a cool mountain scene involving the sculpture. Definetively a great unboxing experience. I recommend the store, artist and product.

Amazingly beautiful handcrafted Tea Pet, my bunny ???? with a teapot… was the artist design…. Its a delightful surprise addition to my tea table. I appreciate it all the small details that came with the teapet. Truly an artwork for a life time.

An absolute WOW! I commisioned a teapet with custom details for my son. The work and details are remarkably executed and true to what was expected! The artist even add a nice drawing of the teapet, and an artwork inside the box. I was so happy with the figurine that I ordered a second one, for my tea table!
The teapets were safely packed and parcel was trackable. It was fast to arrive home, in Canada! I even had the chance to chat with the artist on numerous occasions and it was nice to see that he cares about his parcel arriving in time and his customer being satisfied!! I recomended Terracotta GRYF to all my tea friends.

I bought this custom Whale tea pet for a dear friend of mine whose name is Whale. We named the tea pet ‘Jing’ and christened her on the tea table at my house. The tea pet is beautiful and true to life, and came with a beautiful painting of a whale in the depths of the ocean. Thank you Igor!

Delivery method

We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages. 

First, a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada, or Europe. 

You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to be 12-18 days.

Express delivery is available only upon individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.

Customs duties and taxes

Customers are responsible for any fees, taxes, and duties related to delivery and ordering products to their country of destination.

Packaging

Your order will arrive in a safe cardboard box, with due packaging and protection from damage.
