This mini sculpture I called Meditative character. Very unusual handmade sculpture and interesting realization of the idea. Such a man-animal for me symbolizes the unity of the world of man and animals, their peaceful coexistence.  Measurements this ceramic artwork - height 5.5 cm, width ( front view) 4 cm. This miniature ceramic statue is made from natural Chinese clay used to create the famous Gongfucha teapots. After firing in a wood-fired kiln it took an interesting unique color and became like a stone. When lightly tapping on the figurine, it produces a specific ringing sound inherent in metal products. This type of clay is not intended for creating small, detailed sculptures, as it contains many large scribbles. But I managed to create a unique detailed piece.  This man-animal in meditation is a perfect addition to your tea ceremony Gongfu Cha as a tea pet, as the figurine is not afraid of boiling water.
