Old Soviet desktop telephone. Manufactured in 1968. An interesting model that has a microphone, perhaps so that two people can talk at the same time. At the back there is a socket for two wires, possibly for connecting headphones, so that the second person who will use the microphone can listen to the interlocutor. There are three not very noticeable defects, two of which are on the back side (see photo 8). At the site of the defect in the front part, if you wish, you can try installing a socket for a 3.5 Jack type plug and connecting headphones through it for a second subscriber, who will speak through the microphone or a speaker for speakerphone. On the front there is a peephole with an indicator, and behind it there is a lamp inside the case, which apparently should glow or blink when the phone rings. The operability is unknown, but no damage is visible inside, all parts are intact.. In the case of if it is will be used for its intended purpose, as an alternative a modern electronic filling can be installed inside the case, for example, from the walkie or Arduino GSM module for use with modern SIM cards. And of course, it can be used simply as a decoration for the interior.

Dynamic Microphone "MD-55" produced of Tula factory "Octava". The microphone is in excellent working condition, tested with an ohmmeter. The bottom part is made of cast iron. The upper part with the microphone can be tilted forward or backward on the hinge. This microphone was repainted anew. On the front grille there are such inscriptions and symbols: the name of the microphone, the state standard number, the Oktava factory mark and the year of manufacture - 1959. This rare specimen of early releases of the late 50s, differs from most others same microphones, middle part, which is carved from steel coated with chrome and has a more complex hinge design (see photo 10). At most of the other of model 55 microphones later issues of the 60s, apparently in order to simplify and reduce the cost of production, the middle part was cast from aluminum without chromium coating and had a simpler design (in photo 10 on the right). Technical specifications: Directional characteristic - circle Nominal frequency range of 60-8000 Hz The unevenness frequency response of 12 dB Rated load impedance of 250 ohms The sensitivity of -72 dB Height 6.9" / 176 mm Diameter of base 4.6" / 116 mm Weight 2.8 lb / 1.3 kg

Old, very stylish Soviet bakelite telephone designed for use in the director's office. In the instructions it is called a concentrator, its name KD - "Koncentrator Direktora" (Director's Concentrator). Manufactured in 1971. The case is generally in good condition, without damage, but in some places, as well as on some keys, scratches are visible. Functionality is unknown, but no damage is visible inside, two of the six incandescent warning lamps that should illuminate the names of subscribers from the front are missing. At the bottom, under the two blocks of signal lamps, there are two strips for attaching signs on which you can indicate the names of subscribers. You can see an example of this in photo 8. In my opinion, white names on a black background look more attractive than black ones on white. The six square buttons above were apparently designed to quickly call these subscribers without having to dial the number using the round disk. But if it is will be used for its intended purpose, in this case, the performance of its parts does not matter, since they most likely will be replaced with modern electronics, for example, from the walkie or Arduino GSM module for use with modern SIM cards, and instead of six incandescent signal lamps, LEDs can be installed. And of course, it can be used simply as a decoration for the interior. I have screenshots of the instructions in Russian for this phone, but if the phone will be redone, then there is no point in these instruction, which describe its structure and operation. Soviet army safety goggles, were intended for pilots of aircraft, mountain divisions, as well as MANPADS brigades. With these glasses from long-term storage, apparently in a very warm room, the outer thin layer of leatherette dried up, has lost its elasticity and become brittle. And if you bend this material, then thin cracks begin to appear, as can be seen in photo 7 on the right. But if after that the material is straightened again, then these cracks close and become almost invisible even at close range, this can be seen in the same photo on the left. Therefore, in my opinion, this is a very minor drawback. At the same time, the main material, which is covered with a leatherette film, is made of a sufficiently strong and thick fabric, which most likely will never crack (see photo below). The belt made of rubberized fabric has also almost lost its elasticity over time, and it may need to be tightened, shortened in length so that it better holds the glasses on the head. Old knife switch, in working condition. Judging by the presence of a jagged gap in the contacts, its original purpose was to turn off the old radio antenna during a thunderstorm. Therefore, this is not a simple switches, but the so-called lightning rods, as it is said in the 1959 book "Young Radio Amateur" in photo 7. It also shows a diagram of its connection between the antenna and the radio receiver. It was apparently once coated with chrome, which has partially peeled off. Such knife switches were used until the early 1960s to work with detector radios, which later fell into disuse. But of course, such switches can also be used for their usual purpose to open electrical circuit. Manufactured at the Moscow factory ATE-1, which was founded in 1929 and produced equipment for the automotive and aviation industries. https://ate-1.ru/history/ Length 4.7" / 120 mm
