It is fully manual, has TTL metering within the removable prism, and uses 120 or 220 roll film. Jupiter-9, quite compact and fast portrait lens in m39 mount(Zenit, Pentax, Practika etc) – will work on modern DSLRs as well as mirrorless systems: Sony NEX, Olympus Pen, Panasonic G, Canon EOS M, Nikon 1, FujiFilm XE-1 etc. One of the best Russian portrait lenses.   The Jupiter-9 lens is quite good as a portrait painter. Not all lenses were produced at KMZ: some were produced by the Arsenal plant, and some were produced by LZOS(Lytkarino).
