Poltava province of Ukraine. This Land is so rich in scenery landscapes, deposits of clay, and long traditions of pottery. The little village Burty became a place of inspiration for me from the very first sight. Here the woodfired kiln was built and my Pottery Park studio was established in 2009. Working with clay is an endless investigation. Whatever the shape wanted to get, whatever the technic invented, I always try to save the fascination of the living Clay natural behavior. Then I burn it using the Wood and the Reed as a fuel and a glaze supply as well. Both given by the Earth. Finally, the Fire discovers the beauty of earthenware in its own fairy way and often brings something exceeding my expectation. After two days cooling down, I open the Kiln. Voila! Let's see Pottery!
