Cars were taken as the basis for the ZIL-4102: the British Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit limousine, the Swedish Volvo 760 and the American Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine. As a result, the ZIL-4102 turned out to be something similar to these three models. By 1988, two copies were made: black and gold. These cars served Mikhail Gorbachev and the top leaders of the Communist Party. The black car was given the nickname "Misha", the second - "Raisa" (Gorbachev's wife).
