Fully FLAX filled mattress covered natural linen Size: 54x75x3 inches. Filling: 2 thin hard flax layers and a few soft. Covering: 100% natural linen fabric, medium-weihght linen  (OEKO-TEX 12.HBY.02843 HOHENSTEIN. Bleached and acidified linen, woven fabrics for table and bed linen, STANDARD 100). Color:  natural flax grey, like oatmeal. It's really unique product. Natural flax fibers affixed without glue into a single continuous layer and has its antibacterial and health qualities. It does not require heat treatment, it can not be washed. One thin natural flax layer is sewn to the top of the mattress cover and another to the bottom. Than we put soft flax layers in the mattress cover and get a ready made mattress. The cover is from natural linen.  It is not a removable linen cover. The mattress cover is made with a short zipper on one side, so you can see what is inside of the mattress. Our mattresses have one of the functions to isolate the human body from synthetic materials. A natural properties of flax safeguard against harmful bacteria and do not create a "greenhouse effect". Flax is grown on a farm without using any chemicals and pesticides. We don’t use the impregnations, fire retardant and other chemical additives. We don't use wool! It's good for all. Not allergic! The mattress has a light smell of summer meadow hay, which fades gradually. About firmness: Please note, these mattresses are soft enough. We can describe maybe on scale from 1 to 10 points.  1 is being the softest (like sleeping on cotton balls), 10 is being the hardest (like a hardwood floor). So these mattresses are about 5 points on the scale. It’s medium soft. CARE FOR MATTRESS: DRY CLEAN ONLY! Can not be washed. Contains natural chemical free flax. The mattress needs to be ventilated 1-2 times a year outside on the Sun. But if it gets wet or something else, it can be wiped off and dried. You can rub the stain with soapy water, then rinse with cool water and dry. The worst that can happen it can leave stains on fabric, as flax is natural. But don’t worry, flax doesn’t lose its health properties for 90 years (according to the scientists tested). This flax is not chemically processed and will continue to give you joy and health. You can use it along, without anything else. But if you like high mattresses, you can put our mattress on the top, like a topper and enjoy its natural healthy qualities.
