Aviation Aircraft Clock M55 Flight Chronograph M55 was used on aircraft types TU & SU. Made in USSR at the Chelyabinsk Watch Factory in 70-80s last century. In original styrofoam box! The watch unit M55 is designed to measure the current time in hours and minutes and to communicate electrical circuits in accordance with a given time program in aircraft engineering. The watch was installed on one of the units of identification system 6201 (your - alien). It was intended for automatic switching of identification codes of aircraft radar interrogator-responder. They had a built-in switch block and, unlike the usual clock, had a 24-hour dial to avoid double operation per day. The red hand is designed to set the contact group response time. There is also an automatic triggering at 24.00. The 6201 system was installed on all military aircraft and helicopters.The Clock & Chronograph is working condition.
