Genre scene Original painting / impressionism. Ethnic painting / Ukrainian national clothes / young girls / handmade/ready to ship. This beautiful painting was created in 1988 by the famous Soviet Ukrainian artist Victoria Kostenko. Title: "Conversation of friends" Materials: cardboard, oil Dimensions: 40 cm x 50 cm (15.75 x 19.68)  The picture is a small plot scene. In the center of the canvas, the artist depicted two Ukrainians in national dresses with floral wreaths on their heads. Customary wreaths could only be worn by unmarried girls.  One girl sits on a bench in front of a flowering garden   A second girl stands next to her, resting her hand on the railing. She is looking directly at the viewer. Her face expresses attention and empathy with a conversation with her friend.  Another hero of the picture is sunlight. He gently hugs the figures of girls and brightly illuminates a flowering tree and garden in the background. The cheerful red color in a floral wreath and suits adds to the picture. This small genre scene is filled with lyrics and warmth. It is evident that the artist admires his heroines, their pure souls, youth, and immediacy evoke his sympathy. one He needs a frame to hold it in place, but I will let the next owner decide which type of frame and which color will look better. I like these old paintings leaning against the walls because they really don't even need a frame to add to their interior style. Hello, our dear customer. ANTIQUE ARTWORKS // ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING Portrait of a Woman / Portrait of a Wife One of a kind / Socialist Realism of Art This amazing picture is an original work of the famous Soviet Ukrainian artist Anatoly Kostenko (1920-1997). The artist is a representative of Russian and Soviet artists, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, a famous Soviet landscape painter. Title: "Portrait of Beloved Wife - Victoria" This work of art was written in 1969. Materials: oil, cardboard Dimensions: 28 cm x 23 cm (11 "x 9") The picture shows a young woman in a dark dress and a gray cardigan, a little sad. Smart, patient and in all respects a positive woman - this is how we see Victoria in the portrait painted by her husband. The artist sees in his wife not only a beautiful woman but also a Creator Man - an unusually deep, beautiful artist.  Victoria's face is taken close-up. At the same time, its light pink tone contrasts with the main background of Katina. Smiling and pensive at the same time, her hair is a little scattered in different directions. In this portrait, the artist managed to emphasize the best features of his wife: beauty, grace, a lively mind, an open and laid-back look, a radiant smile.  A person filled with inner beauty and light looks at us from the picture. Each stroke in the picture speaks of the artist’s love. The pacified expression of her face with a slight smile suggests that we are standing in front of a happy woman.
