Description

This is not to say that this is such a beautiful picture. There are no pleasant, bright colors ... No flowers, birds, sun. And yet I quite like her.
So, the picture shows a sandpit, relatively steep, but not very high, near the Dnieper River. Calm gray sky, clouds translucent veil. There is no sun, but light. The time of the year is, I think, late autumn or early spring. Evening, morning or afternoon (no sun). In the background are cargo cranes.
The lines in the picture are clear: a steep cliff of the quarry, small working barracks, clouds ... Everything is calm, there is no movement. People are not visible. There are no animals, no birds Everything seems partly abandoned, and one of the feelings evoked by the painting is melancholy. But not only this - it is very decorative in its own way.
The picture seemed to stand still.

This painting is an original work of art by the famous Soviet Ukrainian artist Anatoly Kostenko (1920-1997). The artist is a representative of Russian and Soviet artists, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, a famous Soviet landscape painter.

Genre scene Original painting / impressionism. Ethnic painting / Ukrainian national clothes / young girls / handmade/ready to ship. This beautiful painting was created in 1988 by the famous Soviet Ukrainian artist Victoria Kostenko. Title: "Conversation of friends" Materials: cardboard, oil Dimensions: 40 cm x 50 cm (15.75 x 19.68)  The picture is a small plot scene. In the center of the canvas, the artist depicted two Ukrainians in national dresses with floral wreaths on their heads. Customary wreaths could only be worn by unmarried girls.  One girl sits on a bench in front of a flowering garden   A second girl stands next to her, resting her hand on the railing. She is looking directly at the viewer. Her face expresses attention and empathy with a conversation with her friend.  Another hero of the picture is sunlight. He gently hugs the figures of girls and brightly illuminates a flowering tree and garden in the background. The cheerful red color in a floral wreath and suits adds to the picture. This small genre scene is filled with lyrics and warmth. It is evident that the artist admires his heroines, their pure souls, youth, and immediacy evoke his sympathy. one He needs a frame to hold it in place, but I will let the next owner decide which type of frame and which color will look better. I like these old paintings leaning against the walls because they really don't even need a frame to add to their interior style. Hello, our dear customer. Ancient works // Original painting / Impressionism / Forest landscape / painting trees / oil on canvas / famous artist / one of a kind / ready to be sent Date Created - 1970. The title "Домик лесорубов в лесу." Materials: oil, canvas Dimensions: 65 cm x 53 cm (25.59"x 20.86") The famous Soviet landscape painter Anatoly Kostenko painted a landscape painting "Lumberjack House in the Forest".  Thickly dark trees, small islands of white snow. A lot of trees - trunks and branches, between them you can see a small green wooden structure, perhaps this is a lumberjack house. Before us is a magnificent image of a dense forest. In the foreground, we see large trunks of old trees, and large branches, and young shoots. The image of the forest is absolutely real, But, despite the reality of the image, I just want to say about the forest: "fabulous". There is some mystery in this picture, a riddle. He needs a frame to hold it in place, but I will let the next owner decide which type of frame and which color will look better. I like these old paintings leaning against the walls because they really don't even need a frame to add to their interior style. Antique works / original painting Conversation of girlfriends / Russian girls / Ancient pastel painting / one of a kind / handmade This painting was created in 1969. Title: "Girlfriends" Materials: sandpaper, pastel Dimensions: 67 cm x 63 cm (26.37 "x 24.80") This picture is very joyful. In the foreground are four joyful girls in national Russian shawls who talk joyfully. Behind them is a snowy street, people are walking along it. The houses on the street are yellowish, old, not very tall. The street is not very wide. Most likely it is a small city.  It is clear that the girls are very happy about the first snow. The artist managed to capture them without undue sentimentality: a strong, ruddy girl in the center of the picture, looks openly and directly. She tells her friends something interesting and fun. To highlight the figures of the heroines, the author used intense color combinations. Bright shawls contrast with the background of white snow, and red and yellow shades in dresses make the images of girls bright. Children look funny and mischievous. He needs a frame to hold it in place, but I will let the next owner decide which type of frame and which color will look better. Museum painting / Ancient works / Original painting still life with toys / signed painting / still life of a famous artist / one of a kind / ready to be sent This painting has been repeatedly shown at exhibitions in many museums of art painting in the USSR. The last exhibition with this picture was held in 1997 at the Art Museum of Dnepropetrovsk. The painting has preserved a museum inscription on the frame. See the photo. Victoria Kostenko created "Still Life with a Dymkovo Toy" in 1967. The title "Still life with a Dymkovo toy" Materials: Canvas, Oil Paint Dimensions: 59.5 cm x 64.5 cm (23.22 "x 25.19") The painting was signed by the artist in the lower right corner and on the reverse side on a stretcher. Before us is a canvas depicting clay toys, hand-painted Dymkovo toys, garden fruits and flowers in a vase. Dymkovo toys are one of the Russian folk clay crafts. It arose in the district settlement of Dymkovo, near the city of Vyatka (now in the territory of the city of Kirov). The Dymkovo toy is a handmade product. Each toy is the creation of one master. Making toys from modeling to painting is a creative process that never repeats. No, and cannot be two absolutely identical products. Still life is made in a light airy manner and conveys the warmth of colors. The image is fabulous, tender, it is saturated with the aroma of flowers and fruits. On the left, on canvas, a large ceramic vase, hand-painted, is realistically depicted. You can see it in my store, in the department of Artistic Ceramics. In a heavy clay vase, the stems of garden flowers gracefully curved. In front of the vase is a plate with large ripe apples and branches with red berries. The picture seems to radiate the warmth of a beautiful summer sunny day. Hello, our dear customer. If you buy 3 things, we will give you a 20% discount. Each piece of art is hand-packed.
