Round Plank Shield, made of planks
We now have several of these round shield in stock. Wooden board, 10mm hewn pine. Stained, smoked with aging effect. Umbon is knocked out of 2mm steel, nailed with four nails. We also make different designs on the boards if you wish, (optional) Diameter- 70cm - 27.5inch Viking shield made from planks are not plywood options. It looks as it should, made following the example of arch. finds from the Viking Age and other Scandinavians, Viking shields were usually 60-90 cm in diameter. We plan the boards by hand, carefully fitting them together, the board will be 10mm thick. The selected tree is alder. It is extremely lightweight, and such a shield will actually hold without much visual strain. Nevertheless, the shields are obtained up to 4 kg together with the umbo. It all depends on the humidity of the ambient air. On the outside of the board, we do not leave any furniture bolt heads, only 4 forged nails. Delivery method

We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages. 

First a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada or Europe. 

You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to 12-18 days.

Express delivery is available only on individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.

Customs duties and taxes

Customers are responsible for any fees, taxes and duties related to delivery and ordering products to their country of destination.

Packaging
