The Jupiter-12 photo lens is a wide angle LTM lens for Contax, Kiev and other rangefinder cameras (except modern Bessa cameras).
Being a direct copy of the Contax Biogon 35mm f:2.8 lens, it can't be bad!
The life of the Biogon lens began in 1947 at the KMZ factory in Krasnogorsk. In 1947-1948, these lenses, known as the Jipiter-12BK, were made from genuine Carl Zeiss parts (including complete optical blocks) received according to reparations from Germany ... this was the best part of the Jupiter-12 lenses.
From the end of 1949 to 1952, German glass was also used, but the blocks were assembled in the . They were also very good lenses.
From the end of 1952, all parts of the Jupiter-12 lenses were produced in the at the factories of KMZ, Litkarino, Arsenal (for Kyiv cameras of the ). Even the latest lenses are not as sharp and contrasty as the first release, but these lenses are younger, in better condition, and still provide very good image quality at fairly low prices.

* Coated optics without the Russian red "n" symbol (sounds like P=prosvetlenije, this symbol has been removed since the early 1960s when all Russian optics became coated).
* Mounting: Contax RF mount.
* Resolution: (pairs of lines per 1 mm): at least 36 in the center and 18 at the edge of the frame.
* Filter mount: M 40.5 x 0.75 mm.
* Compact and lightweight.
* Black body finish.

Delivery method
We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages.
First a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada or Europe.
You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to 12-18 days.
Express delivery is available only on individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.
