There are some pretty awful drawbacks to using a snipe pipe though. The main one is not having that big 2” pipe laying around the van or jobsite which is needed to fit over the wrench. The second is they are sloppy to work with and sometimes you can’t swing them enough between those boiler lines in our way. We have solved that problem for you with a small, tight and purpose built attachment for your tool box! Just slip this tool over the end of your wrench, grab a coupling and attach a 2 foot nipple (even a 6 foot if you wanted) to the end of the tool and now you have all the adjustable leverage you could ever need. If you are a pipefitter, plumber or HVAC tech in general and have ever worked on old systems and especially steam you know how stubborn some of those fittings can be to loosen without a snipe on your pipe wrenches. This tool is a compact solution for you and we use them nearly every week at our shop so we thought if we use them regularly others could benefit from them as well.
