Figure height 1.73 in, width 1.14 in. Daruma ( Bodaidaruma) is the founder of the Chan (Zen) Buddhist school. The aim of the Zen practice is to open the eye of the soul and see the basis of life, the desire for inner purification by refraining from vice and material goods.   Daruma is very pleasant to the touch. Close your eyes and imaging that you are holding the sculpture in your hands. Will seem that you have a nice little stone of the correct ergonomic shape… like a pebble from the sea. You can feel it especially clearly on the rear side, where the cape is practically without folds...It’s a very pleasant tactile sensation. This is unusual tea pet for gongfu tea. It is made of two types of clay - red and white. The details (eyes, eyebrows and beard) are painted with white and black engobe. To highlight the pupils, a drop of black glossy glaze is applied on the pupils. It makes Daruma very lively.  Get the real pleasure of owning a single copy of such a famous character in Asia. All our products are copyrighted. They are and will be in one copy. Each product has meaning and philosophy. But if you want, you can give it your own personal history and name. The products are made of Ukrainian clay but using a small amount of Spanish clay. I use engobe and high-quality glaze to finish the figures. Clay is burned twice at 960 and 1080 degrees Celsius in a muffle furnace designed for firing ceramic products. Clay and glazes are led free and food safe.

Height of the dog 1.97 in, width (front view) 1.57 in. The dog has a minimalistic design. He seemed to have descended from Japanese prints. Despite the minimalistic features, he has a well-developed form. The dog is made of clay, but very much resembles a jade figurine. Dog as you know it is a friend of man. He personifies dedication, courage and vigilance. It is a symbol of protection and self-sacrifice. I believe that a dog figurine should be in every home, especially if it is unusual and handmade. This figurine is perfect for any interior. Will be a wonderful guardian of your tea tray. I am sure that the dog will delight you and will certainly attract the attention of your guests. This mini statue is made of white fireclay clay. Covered with engobe and transparent food glaze. The materials that are used in the manufacture of the dog are safe.
