I offer you a stunning example of high-quality Soviet design - Vintage Soviet Table Clock Molnia Kusa CastIron Danila Master , the 1st class of GOST 3309-65. The mechanism is made on the basis of the tank clock. They work quietly, range from one of the plant - up to a week. The body is made of castiron in 1960-70's. Dimensions clock: Length 11 cm./  4,33 in Width 6 cm./  2,36 in Height 18,5 cm./ 7,28 in Weight 1,700 kg. This sculpture was made in russian town Kasli on the famous cast iron factory "Kasli". This town is located in Ural mountains. These  mountains are known for precious and semiprecious stones, minerals and various products from them. Kasli are known all over the world by its iron castings. Manufacture of products from cast iron has been based in this russian city in 1747. Since then all products were renowned for high quality, durability, beauty and grace. The peculiarity of this sort of production in the row of the same products laid, first of all, in the clearness and the smoothness of the surface of the metal, and also in the skills of the craftsmen.  The secret was in a great quality of iron, smelted on the fire from wooden coal, in the consistence of the forming sands and in the skills of the craftsmen. The best works of Kasli iron casting art made after the original models by the well-known russian and Western European sculptors Peter Clodt von Jürgensburg, Eugene Lanceray, etc. Cast iron products of Kasli received diplomas and medals of exhibitions in St. Peterburg, Paris, Vienna, Philadelpia, Stockholm.   Dear Buyers, you need to understand; Antique and vintage watches (and clock) - are very delicate and I always pack them in a good packing for high degree preventing of damage.
