Description

 Hedgehog height 1.38 in, length 1.77 in. Getting into your hands, Hedgehog and his friend Snail only evoke positive emotions! Nice texture not prickly but expressive needles, smiling face, black kind eyes and big ears. Hedgehog is a symbol of self-defense. In Feng shui  the Hedgehog is a symbol of security, openness, friendliness and joy. Prickles pierce the world of darkness and either defeats it or gives it a jolt. Ancient legends say that Hedgehog is wise enough, and even God listened to his advice! In China, such an animal is associated with kindness. Hedgehog brings joy and prosperity to the house.

The Snail is a symbol of patience and perseverance because of its slowness. Time (the burden on the shoulders) does not deprive the Snail of the ability to victoriously raise antennae above its head. Due to the horns appearing and disappearing, the Snail is considered a symbol of the cyclic nature of the processes. It is also a symbol of time and evolution. Through the labyrinth of the clam shell spiral, man comprehends the meaning of time. Because the Snail always hides its body in the house, it is a symbol of modesty. This feature reminds about thrift and even greed - «I carry everything with me».

I’ve also given this product its own individual meaning. For me, above all, Hedgehog and Snail are a symbol of friendship and alliance between the two personalities. And what he can become for you is for you to decide. In any case, unusual and lovely sculpture. It will please you or it will be a beautiful gift with meaning for your loved ones.

It is made of three types of clay. The main one is white, but after two burns it has become a slightly beige (sandy) color. The eyes and nose of the Hedgehog are made of black clay. Its legs and the sink of the snail are made of terracotta clay. To accentuate the texture of the leaf, a glossy black glaze was applied to it, giving the effect of depth. If you look closely, you can see the pores.

Handmade Okame mask is ceramic tea pet, miniature statue and unique gift.
Okame height 1.34 in, width 1.02 in. The Okame mask of the Kegen Theatre is one of the cultural symbols of Japan. A very charming piece - a very accurate copy of the handwriting of my creative workshop. It is made of white clay, which became beige during the process of roasting. Upon careful examination, it can be seen that the posterior part of the article( symbolizing the neck of the mask bearer) has come out significantly lighter. That makes it even clearer. Also some fragments (eyebrows, eyelashes, hair) are covered with black engobe, teeth-white, the lips are highlighted by a slight smear of red clay. Okame is the Japanese goddess of happiness and fun. She is usually depicted as a small fat woman with a large pear-like head, burning eyes, a broad, curly face, plucked eyebrows, a small mouth and full cheeks. Okame is known in Japanese mythology as well as Ame no Uzume - «Heavenly Maiden of Courage». It was she who lured the goddess of the Sun, Amateras, out of the cave with her frantic dance and brought light back to the world. The popular image of Okame was very popular. It is not by chance that her other names are Ofuku (in Japanese - «happiness») and Otafuku («great happiness»). The word «okama» is literally translated as a «turtle»; this animal in ancient Japan was a symbol of long life and luck. It’s going to be a great gift to a man who’s interested in Oriental culture. Handmade Kitsune figurine is unique tea pet and small decor in a single copy.
 I present to you my vision of the teapet seductive Kitsune. Figure height 7.2 cm, base width ( front view) 3.9 cm.   In Japanese folklore, foxes possess great knowledge, long lives, and magical powers. Other abilities commonly attributed to the kitsune include the ability to inhabit other people's bodies, create fire, appear in other people's dreams, and the ability to create illusions so complex that they are almost indistinguishable from reality. Some of the tales go further, speaking of kitsune with the ability to bend space and time, drive people insane, or take on such inhuman or fantastic forms as trees of indescribable height or a second moon in the sky.  The figurine is made of natural clay. Handmade mini sculpture Buddha on the Deer is unusual tea pet.
Figure height 4.3 cm, length ( side view) 5.7 cm. Why was this figurine born?  It's hard to answer.  I love animals, but I've never made a deer before.  Decided to try.  When the deer was ready, it seemed to me that something was missing.  And made the Buddha on horseback.  Then I came across information that historically, it was in the Deer Park that Gautama Buddha gave his first teaching. In addition, deer are fabulous creatures for me, graceful and kind.  I hope you love deer too. The Buddha on the Deer is made of natural clay. A detailed and interesting figure. It was an easy purchase, no trouble using the platform. The packaging was done with perfection and care. No damage at all. The product is very beautiful and shows the art and soul in every detail. Amazingly beautiful handcrafted Tea Pet, my bunny ???? with a teapot… was the artist design…. Its a delightful surprise addition to my tea table. I appreciate it all the small details that came with the teapet. Truly an artwork for a life time.

An absolute WOW! I commisioned a teapet with custom details for my son. The work and details are remarkably executed and true to what was expected! The artist even add a nice drawing of the teapet, and an artwork inside the box. I was so happy with the figurine that I ordered a second one, for my tea table!
The teapets were safely packed and parcel was trackable. It was fast to arrive home, in Canada! I even had the chance to chat with the artist on numerous occasions and it was nice to see that he cares about his parcel arriving in time and his customer being satisfied!! I recomended Terracotta GRYF to all my tea friends.

I bought this custom Whale tea pet for a dear friend of mine whose name is Whale. We named the tea pet ‘Jing’ and christened her on the tea table at my house. The tea pet is beautiful and true to life, and came with a beautiful painting of a whale in the depths of the ocean. Thank you Igor!

We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages. 

First, a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada, or Europe. 

You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to be 12-18 days.
