Soviet carbolite chess set, weighted plastic pieces
with 15" wooden chessboard
Temsky Cossack warriors of Kievan Rus
Issued in the USSR in April 1988
8th State Bearing Plant in Kharkov,
All products are original in very good preserved condition without loss.
The pieces were not used. They were kept in a plastic bag, as you could see in the photo.
The plastic bag was opened by me to take a photo representing the set.
The numbers are very nice to the touch, feeling like bone. Made of high-quality plastic of the USSR, when everything was done in good faith, for centuries.
This set people call Bogdan Khmelnytsky chess. He was hetman and ruled 1648-1657. This set represents the Cossack warriors of that time and was named after the great leader and hetmag Bohdan Khelnitsky.
The original images of the figures attract attention at first glance. Amazing detail images of parts. And pefect preservation after more than half a century.
This chess set is unique. Because in this state it is very rare.

Delivery method
We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages.
First a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada or Europe.
You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to 12-18 days.
Express delivery is available only on individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.
