Description

An interesting figure of a Chicken made of natural clay. She will surely attract your attention (and later the attention of your guests). The look of the minisculpture is bright. Each feather is drawn in three different colors using an engobe.  The figurine is only 35 mm high and 65 mm long.  But in your hand you clearly feel the feathers, the beak, the scallop. Very detailed and sunny figure.

The Chicken is not afraid of boiling water.  Therefore, you can safely water it with tea if you use it as an tea pet. But be careful, the figurine is fragile and can break. Do not give the figurine as a toy to children.

Boy height 2.13 in, width 1.50 in. A smiling Chinese boy with a sacred fish in his hands is one of the sweetest sculptures of my creative workshop. In Chinese and Japanese everyday life the figurines of children, especially boys, have a large and pronounced symbolism. Netsuke Karako (a Chinese little boy) is the wish of a male heir who would occupy a high social position and thus will bring prosperity to the family. Karako is considered a benevolent symbol, bringing happiness, luck and well-being. In addition to this, the joyful boy is depicted with the sacred fish Tai, which on its tail brings happiness. Handmade ceramic Hedgehog and his friend Snail is miniature statue and tea pet for Gongfu cha.
 Hedgehog height 1.38 in, length 1.77 in. Getting into your hands, Hedgehog and his friend Snail only evoke positive emotions! Nice texture not prickly but expressive needles, smiling face, black kind eyes and big ears. Hedgehog is a symbol of self-defense. In Feng shui  the Hedgehog is a symbol of security, openness, friendliness and joy. Prickles pierce the world of darkness and either defeats it or gives it a jolt. Ancient legends say that Hedgehog is wise enough, and even God listened to his advice! In China, such an animal is associated with kindness. Hedgehog brings joy and prosperity to the house. Handmade miniature Daruma figurine unique tea pet, ceramic table decor will not go unnoticed.
Figure height 1.73 in, width 1.14 in. Daruma ( Bodaidaruma) is the founder of the Chan (Zen) Buddhist school. The aim of the Zen practice is to open the eye of the soul and see the basis of life, the desire for inner purification by refraining from vice and material goods.   Daruma is very pleasant to the touch. Handmade Okame mask is ceramic tea pet, miniature statue and unique gift.
Okame height 1.34 in, width 1.02 in. The Okame mask of the Kegen Theatre is one of the cultural symbols of Japan. A very charming piece - a very accurate copy of the handwriting of my creative workshop. It is made of white clay, which became beige during the process of roasting. Upon careful examination, it can be seen that the posterior part of the article( symbolizing the neck of the mask bearer) has come out significantly lighter. That makes it even clearer. Also some fragments (eyebrows, eyelashes, hair) are covered with black engobe, teeth-white, the lips are highlighted by a slight smear of red clay. Okame is the Japanese goddess of happiness and fun. She is usually depicted as a small fat woman with a large pear-like head, burning eyes, a broad, curly face, plucked eyebrows, a small mouth and full cheeks. Okame is known in Japanese mythology as well as Ame no Uzume - «Heavenly Maiden of Courage». It was she who lured the goddess of the Sun, Amateras, out of the cave with her frantic dance and brought light back to the world. The popular image of Okame was very popular. It is not by chance that her other names are Ofuku (in Japanese - «happiness») and Otafuku («great happiness»). The word «okama» is literally translated as a «turtle»; this animal in ancient Japan was a symbol of long life and luck. It’s going to be a great gift to a man who’s interested in Oriental culture. It was an easy purchase, no trouble using the platform. The packaging was done with perfection and care. No damage at all. The product is very beautiful and shows the art and soul in every detail. Along with the sculpture I received an elegant fine paper with the drawing of the product, nice touch. Even the box was decorated with a cool mountain scene involving the sculpture. Amazingly beautiful handcrafted Tea Pet, my bunny ???? with a teapot… was the artist design…. Its a delightful surprise addition to my tea table. I appreciate it all the small details that came with the teapet. Truly an artwork for a life time.

An absolute WOW! I commisioned a teapet with custom details for my son. The work and details are remarkably executed and true to what was expected! The artist even add a nice drawing of the teapet, and an artwork inside the box. I was so happy with the figurine that I ordered a second one, for my tea table!
The teapets were safely packed and parcel was trackable. It was fast to arrive home, in Canada! I even had the chance to chat with the artist on numerous occasions and it was nice to see that he cares about his parcel arriving in time and his customer being satisfied!! I recomended Terracotta GRYF to all my tea friends.

I bought this custom Whale tea pet for a dear friend of mine whose name is Whale. We named the tea pet ‘Jing’ and christened her on the tea table at my house. The tea pet is beautiful and true to life, and came with a beautiful painting of a whale in the depths of the ocean. Thank you Igor!

Delivery method

We ship all the parcels from Ukraine (from our logistics centers in Kyiv and Chernivtsi) via international services (FedEx, UPS) in two stages. 

First, a parcel is sent by express delivery service to Europe, and then, it is shipped by air mail to the United States, Canada, or Europe. 

You can see the movement of the parcel by a tracking number only in the second stage - 4-6 days after sending your order from our center. We estimate the delivery time to be 12-18 days.

Express delivery is available only upon individual request. Please contact us if you need Express delivery before placing an order so we can update shipping options.

Customs duties and taxes

Customers are responsible for any fees, taxes, and duties related to delivery and ordering products to their country of destination.
