Russian (USSR) Helios-40 lenses are considered one of the best portrait lenses. Sometimes the combination of old and new can lead to startling results. There are a few fantastic analogue lenses with adapters that blend well with modern digital cameras. One of them is the Russian portrait lens Helios 40.    The best feature of this lens is the excellent oil-painted Bokeh at Apertures F1.5-2.
