Description

I-5 aircraft model 1/73. Fighter. The USSR 1929-1942. Vintage. Mini old plane. Airplane. Plane model. Aircraft.

First flight - April 30, 1929. Was in service from 1931 to 1942. A total of 816 cars were built
The fighter was armed with two Soviet-made PV-1 synchronous machine guns with 1200 rounds of ammunition.
When installing underwing bomb racks, the I-5 fighter could carry up to 40 kg of bombs.

It had a non-retractable landing gear in flight and a C-shaped crutch at the rear of the aircraft.
The shape of the airframe was created by a light set of duralumin frames and stringers supporting the fabric covering.
A frame with two wheels is attached to the bottom of the fuselage. Bicycle wheels with spokes
The chassis design and tail skid allow the aircraft to take off and land on hard ground. In winter, it is possible to replace the wheels with skis and take off and land on a shallow snow cover.
In conditions of aluminum deficiency in the USSR, the aircraft design was simple and inexpensive to manufacture and maintainable in the field. However, these same qualities worsened the survivability of the aircraft in combat and led to high losses of combat vehicles in the air.

The model is quite rare, in good condition. The model was kept in a special rack.

Material: metal, plastic. Scale 1/73.

Model in good vintage condition.
A perfect piece for collectors or as a gift for a child.

State of the photo.
The color in the photo may vary depending on the monitor's settings and light reflection.

Dimensions:
Length - about 9.4 cm (3.70 in.)
Width - about 14.0 cm (5.51 in.)
Height - about 4.0 cm (1.57 in.)

I-3, aircraft model 1/85. Fighter. USSR 1928-1931. Vintage Airplane. Mini plan. Plane model Aircraft. I-3 is an abbreviation derived from: "third fighter". The tactical combat purpose of an aircraft is to conduct maneuverable air combat with the aim of destroying or damaging enemy aircraft. The cockpit is single, open, with a small transparent canopy in the front to protect the pilot in flight from the incoming air. On the first serial 75 combat vehicles, Vickers machine guns were installed for synchronous firing forward along the flight path. All other serial fighters had standard armament: two 7.62 mm machine guns. Part of the I-3 aircraft was equipped with bomb racks for two 25-pound bombs. In terms of the general layout, appearance and structural materials, the I-3 fighter largely repeats the production Fokker D.XI aircraft (Soviet designation Fokker FD-11) of the German aircraft designer Reinhold Platz. Since 1922, the Fokker D.XI (FD-11) light single-seat German one and a half wing fighter was produced in the USSR under license from Fokker and was in service with the flight units of the Red Army Air Force for 5 years. By 1927 it was morally and technically obsolete. He was replaced by the I-3 biplane fighter. The model is quite rare, in good condition. The model was kept in a special rack. Material: metal, plastic. Scale 1/85. Model in good vintage condition. A perfect piece for collectors or as a gift for a child. State of the photo.
