German Knight Minnesinger - Konrad Schenke von Limpurg (1249-1286). Minnesang was the tradition of lyric and song writing in Germany which flourished in the 12th century and continued into the 14th century. People who wrote and performed Minnesang are known as Minnesingers (German: Minnesänger). The name derives from the word minne, Middle High German for love which was their main subject, and an individual song was a minnelied. The Minnesänger were similar to the Provençal troubadours and northern French trouvères; they wrote love poetry in the courtly love tradition in Middle High German in the High Middle Ages. Chevalier Allemand Minnesinger - Konrad Schenke von Limpurg (1249-1286) Minnesang (« chant d'amour ») est la tradition du lyrique et de l'écriture de chanson dans les pays de langue allemande qui s'est épanouie du xiie siècle jusqu'au xive siècle. Ceramic bowl diameter 2.95 -3.15 inches, height 2.28 inches, capacity 80 ml. The frog is a harbinger of spring rains and the awakening of nature.  I call this bowl the HEATER OF HEAT. When, after hibernation, the frog woke up, climbed a tree in search of the warm rays of the sun to warm up. Outside, the bowl has a wood texture. It seems that the frog is sitting on a tree and striving to reach its top. Inside, the color of the wood is the same, but here the glaze has laid down so that it reminds me of the sun ( seen in the photo). The bowl and the frog are made of clay. They are covered with engobe and food glaze. Food safe. The bowl is very tactilely textured, but the frog is smooth. This is a great option for unity with nature and admiring an unusual bowl with its inhabitant. Edward III of Bar (late June 1377 - 25 October 1415, Agincourt) was made marquis of Pont-a-Mousson by his father Robert I of Bar in 1399 (his mother was Marie Valois, daughter of John II of France) and held it until his death He then became heir to the duchy of Bar following the death of his elder brothers Henry and Philippe at or soon after the battle of Nicopolis in 1396. In 1405, Charles VI of France charged him with defending the Boulonnais, then threatened by the English. At the end of 1406 he participated in the Guyenne campaign under the orders of Louis of Orleans, but dysentry decimated the French forces. After Louis's assassination in 1407, Edward joined John the Fearless and rallied the Burgundians. Succeeding his father on 12 April 1411, Edward was killed at the battle of Agincourt and succeeded by his brother (he never married, though he left several illegitimate children). Having headed armies of supporters of Bruces, Archibald has broken Edward Balliol army in battle at Annan on December, 17th, 1332 and has superseded Balliol from the country. In 1333 the army of English king Edward III which has besieged Berik has intruded in Scotland. Armies of Archibald Douglas have hastened to the aid of the besieged city, but have been broken in the battle at Halidon-Hille on July, 19th, 1333, and Archibald is killed. Son of Archibald Douglas, William, has received in 1358 from king David II title the earl of Douglas and there was the line founder «Red Duglas», the future earls of Angus and dukes Hamilton.
