Tea pair HOKUSAI. Two bowls represent a man and a woman. One bowl depicts a samurai man. On the second - a wise Japanese wife with scrolls. Drawings taken from Hokusai's sketch. On the bowls they are hand-painted by me with a brush. Outside and inside bowls are covered with food safe ceramic glaze. The bowls were fired twice in an oven at 1040 degrees Celsius. The capacity of bowls is 45-50 ml. Height 5.5-6 cm (since the bowls are made by hand without using a potter's wheel, they are not even and this gives them charm).

The height of the figurine 2.60 in, the length of the horse 2.99 in. The figurine of a child on a horse is one-piece, made of clay, the shirt is covered with white food glaze. According to my idea, this is a figurine of a Chinese child on a wooden horse with a traditional Chinese pattern. I think it turned out very nice. Children love to ride horses, so I decided to make such an unusual miniature figure. The sculpture was produced in 1950s. At the bottom of the sculpture is a clear branding stamp of the Baranovsky Porcelain Factory.   A gecko with a stand is one piece. Figure length with stand 10 cm, width 5 cm. Gecko is one of my latest works made in Ukraine.  The figurine was fired in a wood-burning stove in Ukraine already during the war.   Geckos are reptiles that belong to the lizard family.  They are very small and come in a variety of colors and appearances.  We can find them on all continents of the world and they are not easy to spot due to their size. Geckos are very adaptable and can survive in a variety of environments, from rainforests to deserts.  Evolution has allowed them to become resistant to these harsh living conditions, as well as avoid being trapped by predators.    People who have a gecko totem are very smart and quick-witted. They can understand every situation they are in and this helps them take the next step.  You can never really guess what these people are thinking, and it's hard to get inside their heads.   This is a very unusual gift in a single copy for the whole world.  Even I can't repeat it.  The gecko will decorate your tea space and become a wonderful tea friend for you.

Why was this figurine born?  It's hard to answer.  I love animals, but I've never made a deer before.  Decided to try.  When the deer was ready, it seemed to me that something was missing.  And made the Buddha on horseback.  Then I came across information that historically, it was in the Deer Park that Gautama Buddha gave his first teaching. In addition, deer are fabulous creatures for me, graceful and kind.  I hope you love deer too. The Buddha on the Deer is made of natural clay. A detailed and interesting figure. Okame height 1.34 in, width 1.02 in. The Okame mask of the Kegen Theatre is one of the cultural symbols of Japan. A very charming piece - a very accurate copy of the handwriting of my creative workshop. It is made of white clay, which became beige during the process of roasting. Upon careful examination, it can be seen that the posterior part of the article( symbolizing the neck of the mask bearer) has come out significantly lighter. That makes it even clearer. Also some fragments (eyebrows, eyelashes, hair) are covered with black engobe, teeth-white, the lips are highlighted by a slight smear of red clay. Okame is the Japanese goddess of happiness and fun. She is usually depicted as a small fat woman with a large pear-like head, burning eyes, a broad, curly face, plucked eyebrows, a small mouth and full cheeks. Okame is known in Japanese mythology as well as Ame no Uzume - «Heavenly Maiden of Courage». It was she who lured the goddess of the Sun, Amateras, out of the cave with her frantic dance and brought light back to the world. The popular image of Okame was very popular. It is not by chance that her other names are Ofuku (in Japanese - «happiness») and Otafuku («great happiness»). A monk with a monkey is a one-piece figurine. Its height 2.83 in, width 1.42 in, depth 1.89 in. A monk is associated with peace, enlightenment and patience. The monkey is dexterous and agile. According to my idea, the monk was meditating and a monkey sat on his shoulders. She liked to sit like that, and although the monk was indignant, over time he got used to it and they became friends. Ceramic bowl diameter 2.95 -3.15 inches, height 2.28 inches, capacity 80 ml. The frog is a harbinger of spring rains and the awakening of nature.  I call this bowl the HEATER OF HEAT. When, after hibernation, the frog woke up, climbed a tree in search of the warm rays of the sun to warm up. Outside, the bowl has a wood texture. It seems that the frog is sitting on a tree and striving to reach its top. Inside, the color of the wood is the same, but here the glaze has laid down so that it reminds me of the sun ( seen in the photo). The bowl and the frog are made of clay. I present to your attention an unusual figurine of a Sphinx rat. Its height is 20mm, length is 82mm.  The Sphinx rat is an attentive, peaceful creature. I have never come across a figurine like this so I decided to create it. This miniature sculpture is made from a mixture of two clays, white and terracotta. I tried to create skin color for realism. I think I got it. This cute little statue has clearly visible folds, pimples on the body, a textured tail. The eyes are made of black clay. These details create a realistic figure. To the touch, the rat is smooth, pleasant and with a pronounced texture. The rat is not afraid of boiling water and will gladly accompany your tea ceremony. But keep in mind that when pouring tea, it will absorb it and become darker over time. It depends on the intensity of pouring tea and its variety (color). This figurine is the good-natured, hospitable Hostess of the tea table. HARE- HOSTESS made of natural clay. It's height is 5 cm. The figurine is covered with engobe by hand with a brush. Passed burning to the oven at 1010 degrees Celsius. The hare is not afraid of boiling water and will be glad to drink tea with you as a tea pet and your tea friend.

The white horse is almost always a solar symbol of light, life and spiritual enlightenment. It is an attribute of the Buddha (it is said that he left earthly life on a white horse), the merciful Bato Kannon in Japan, the Prophet in Islam (for whom horses were a symbol of happiness and prosperity).   The horse symbolizes dynamics, movement.  It is also an animal that is inherent in courage, loyalty, grace and endurance.  In Feng Shui, a horse means victory, strength and perseverance, respect and peace.  The horse in the traditions of many peoples is revered as a sacred animal. This figure of a white Horse is made of natural clay.  It is 32mm high, 98 ml long.  The details of the figurine are underlined by engobe.  The figurine was fired in a kiln at a temperature of 1010 degrees Celsius.  Not afraid of boiling water.  If you pour tea on the Horse during the Gongfu tea ceremony, it will darken over time as it absorbs the tea. So you will watch your tea pet change.
